Friendly service and good food sums up this place..it has surprisingly good vegetarian options. We have tried buffalo cauliflower bites, garden veggie pasta and veggie burger.
The cauliflower was my favorite and burger my husband’s. The cauliflower bites came out hot, crispy and delicious! Pasta could use some seasoning and was oily.

Overall a neighborhood place we would love to try again! We saw families with kids here as well.

The food was fine, up to the point where I found a one inch piece of wire/metal in my melted cheese ball. The manager took our two starters off the bill and was very apologetic. Good range of beers, nice red wine!!!

I was in the area visiting family for a week and a half, and Schmizza was just a stone’s throw away. I spent about 5 afternoons there. The staff are truly wonderful! Every one of them is oh-so-competent and genuinely nice. They really care and I felt right at home. The food is a good, not great, but it’s an excellent value and the service is fast. They have a great tap list and the drinks are good. However…Every day I was there, it was warm and sunny outside and I would have liked to sit outside. However, each time I visited, two customers were sitting at an outside table with a DOG LAYING ON TOP OF THE TABLE. I love dogs but this is disgusting. I even saw the dog drink some of their beer. There’s no way I would ever sit at a table if I know a dog has been there. This has to be a safety violation.

It was dark and I felt like I was intruding upon entrance. Once seated and ordered food was fast but puffy and undercooked and doughy. My kids loved the pop/old rap music and danced in their seats.

I knew it was time to leave when “My Type” by Saweetie was blasting full volume UNCUT. I’m a cool mom, but I was absolutely shocked and looked around at all staff to see if they were hearing what I was hearing. Who’s on AUX? Can we get a vibe check when it’s literally a mom, a 2 year old and a 4 year old in your lobby? Read the room.

They provided a box and check quickly.

First time eating at Schmizza’s Public House style property and it was very good. I like their pizza already and they really expanded the food menu. I didn’t think this location had a good beer selection at all and they definitely need to get a better selection of IPA.

Schmizza Public House offers a decent variety of grub and drink selections. However, as this is a pub, expect the food choices to be average American cuisine. Overall, the quality of their food is also about average; it tastes alright but was not overly spectacular. The drink selection was also fine. The place, which is based on their pizza chain, does well in their offerings in this category.

The service was a bit slow and the atmosphere a bit loud when busy. Parking can be found in a nearby structure. Prices were, again, about average.

Sometime you wanna go…

This is a lesser-known gem. The corner pub filled with locals and staffed by friendly, approachable bartenders and wait staff.

We stumbled across this place while our for an evening walk. Funny thing… our evening walks more and more often lead us here!

The fries and tots are always crispy and piping hot. It’s one of the few Schizza locations that doesn’t offer pizza by the slice (no warming window ‍♂️) but they have several tasty and refreshing local beers and ciders on tap and a full bar that more than make up for that. We did not love their tacos… But fries, tots, pizza, and even tomatoe basil soup never dissapoint!

Trivia night, dancing, local flavor… Visit a few times and they’ll probably know your name too.

Came here for happy hour with coworkers. Say outside and had a pretty chill experience. Food was decent but the halibut fish tacos I ordered needed maybe a crema sauce or tartar maybe? Just needed some more wow factor. They were cooked just fine though. It does come with salsa, black beans and corn. I guess I’d just prefer a brighter flavor with lemon too maybe.

I’m sure we caught them at a bad night since it only looks like there were two servers. So take this with a grain of salt. Took a long time to get our check and other drinks, multiple fruit flies, and the table next to us was never cleaned up (we were there an hour). However, staff was kind, food was good…. So would go back.

Beer was great! I had 2 Moscow muels from the happy hour menu, super yummy. Nachos, also from the happy hour menu had so much flavor and good texture. Genoa pizza was packed with meat, I loved it!
Location is fun, I like open windows. Service was ridiculously slow for a half full reasturant.
Total $47.00
