I stopped by to grab lunch before a meeting in town. Had a fantastic Reuben sandwich and some pretty stellar onion rings. This has an old school small town bar feel which I love. The bartender was very friendly and helped me figure out where to order food, etc. (Pretty clear I’m from out of town). Great stop, and I’d love to come again when I can have a proper drink.

The food here is awesome, the portions are huge for the price and it’s a great place to hang out especially on Thursday nights for the Apace meat raffle fund raiser. John Micek is great for hosting the raffle and the money goes to a good cause! Stop on in, lots of wonderful customers.

I was in Columbus for work for about 3 weeks. I discovered this place with my colleagues. The hospitality of the people and bartenders was impressive. Everything was fantastic! Plus, there was good live music and good food. Amazing!

I was visiting from out of town and the original place I was planning to visit was closed upon my arrival. I walked over to Micek’s to see if they were serving food and I unfortunately had just missed last call. Instead of just turning me and my group away, the bartender told us to hang tight and he’d call another spot so see if they were still serving food (which they confirmed with him on the phone they were). I was blown away by the bartenders kindness and willingness to go above and beyond to help us out. Thanks to him I got to enjoy an awesome evening.

Always loved coming here definitely during holiday events (such as Halloween or New Years) it’s great they are getting more business, but it’s like they are out growing their space. Went tonight for Halloween and it was way too crowded and overwhelming. Had to wait 20 min to get helped. The girl working the main part tonight helped the person in front of us and then didn’t come back the guy working the other side of the bar with the beard ended up coming over and helping us. Great place, but if the hype of this place keeps up something really needs to be done. Ended up going to another bar in the end tonight.
