Small town diner. Walked in the door and was hit in the face with fresh apple pie smells. Breakfast was good. Next time I get the pie. Ham and cheese omelette was good.

Small Town, Big Heart!! Nelson’s Cafe is our go to for a home cooked meal!! They pour so much heart into every dish and it’s so delish!
Having an allergy [especially to corn + it’s derivatives…because it’s in almost everything out there] is legit terrifying. I have to be extremely cautious about every single thing I consume. Convenience becomes narrowly attainable—so when you find something at a restaurant that you can safely eat, you cling to it!
Alissa and her crew are always so accommodating!! Thank you guys for being so awesome!!! It means more than you’ll ever know!

My son and I stopped in for a takeout breakfast. We regret not stopping in sooner! We had a “world famous” diner in the town we moved from and have been craving a diner breakfast since we left. Nelson’s definitely hit the spot.
I had the deluxe omelet and my son got a breakfast special. Both were cooked perfectly, and, dare I say it, the omelet was better than back home. Service was super friendly and quick.
We sat at the counter to order and wait for our to-go food. I had to laugh at the height of the counter and stools. Why is it knee-high? I felt like we were sitting at a toddler table. lol
Overall, a great experience for breakfast. We’re already talking about going back tomorrow.

Hours are 6:00am to 2:00pm Monday through Friday Saturday 8:00am to 1:00pm and Sundays 10:00am to 1:00pm. All day breakfast lunch after 11:00am.
The specials were delicious! Large servings and pancakes the size of your head! The chicken parm sandwich was perfectly crispy, the homemade red sauce was the best red sauce I have ever had.

No one involved with this place knows or cares about food. The absolute bottom of the barrel. Rubbery/sponge-y pancakes, omelettes with canned veggies tasteless bacon bits, and probably “eggs” from a container? Old crusty dark brown “hash browns” the texture of twigs. I will never be back.

Best breakfast we have had in a long time. We had the ham and cheese omelet and the deluxe omelet with a caramel rolls to go. The caramel rolls are huge!!! The servings are very generous. Highly recommend a stop at Nelson’s Cafe!

I love Nelson’s Cafe! I stop in every time I’m in Roseau. Super cute, clean, and nostalgic cafe, with cool historic photos of locals/area. The vintage bar stools are the best. Service is fast and friendly, and the food is homestyle cooking, hot and good portions! Always have a good meal and experience, and feels good to support local business!
