First, I have to say that I am a well seasoned restaurant industry worker. I have experience w/hibachi and all that is expected when going to such a place —
My husband and I are meeting family to celebrate a birthday. As we walk in I can hardly see. It’s so beyond “smokey”. Makes me wonder how safe is the ventilation.
On top, they have carpet. That’s gross. Carpet in a restaurant is a terrible idea.
Picture to show the food debris.
Our server was subpar. The chef was doing his best w/a “stand up comedian” approach. I’ve never seen shrimp cut up like that.
No vegetable toss.
No Sake.
Only vegetables were onion and zucchini. Bean sprouts on request.
Price was too high.
Total disappointment.

This place is FUN. The staff are also super nice. We went for a kids 13th birthday party and it did not disappoint. The food was great and everything was fun and tasty! We went early which meant we didn’t have to wait.

I feel like it’s hard to mess up hibachi and it always feels rushed because they sit separate groups at the same time. I had to close the bar tab and by the time I got to the table, everyone else had ordered so I felt like I was holding everyone up. They give you so much food. It is really delicious. Although I’m confused on some of the upcharges. For example, I asked for the fried rice which appeared to be an upcharge of $9.00 on my bill but everyone at the table also got the fried rice…so why was I charged? Almost like I paid for everyone to eat it? The same with the garlic noodles…it was an upcharge that I turned down but still somehow got some on my plate because someone else paid? That’s probably why someone walked out at another table without paying their bill because of the charges for side dishes for other people sitting at your table. I’m still confused why I was charged $9.00 for something that the whole table ate. Aside from that, the food is really good…just be willing to spend around $40-$50 each. Also, I didn’t see a sushi menu but the sign outside said it was a sushi restaurant…maybe that has since changed and they just haven’t updated?

Listen up I am always the first to complain about something!! Not here, if you’ve never been GO!! This us the perfect place for VALENTINES DAY!! Super for a Surprise Birthday dinner or any day. The food was unbelievably delicious and you get pwhat you pay for. Sits ten ppl to a cook who makes your food for you and serves you with delightfully intoxicating moves. Ask for Isaac he is amazing and top of the line. Isaac had a great sense of humor and is a very talented young man. The music that was playing on a Saturday night was perfect mix of 80s old school dance. I loved it and I will return. Perfect Jem super refreshing I’m telling you if you’re sick of the same old things over and over Shogon is the wake up and refresh you needed. 5 stars because I couldn’t give them TEN!!! Thank you Isaac and staff for not making us feel rushed we enjoyed our dinner.. ❤️

It was me and my boyfriend’s first time here. We loved the food and the cook was funny. My boyfriend said it should’ve been our first date, and i agreed. We will be back again soon.

This place was THE WORST Hibachi place i’ve ever had in my life. The prices were high for what they were giving with the plate. This is the first time I had to pay an extra $10 for the fried rice. It was $39 for the chicken and steak combo. They gave me half of a chicken breast to top it off. For $50 in total for the combo, they shouldn’t be so cheap with the food. I’m not even going to get into the noodles or vegetables. I’m not giving it any stars for the food because it didn’t deserve any. I will not be going back ever again. The sad part is I had higher expectations from what I heard about the place.
P.S don’t order the shrimp tempora because it’s not the sushi version it’s just shrimp in a batter deep fried. Again it was the ABSOLUTE WORSE Hibachi ever. No saki either

I love Shogun. It is my favorite place to have dinner. The food is great and the garlic noodles are the best. If there is leftover shogun in my fridge, I can’t sleep without another delicious helping. Love that ginger dressing for the salad. If the next house next door was for sale, I would consider buying it because it’s so close to Shogun. Great staff great food. Great place to celebrate a special occasion too.Im already having shogun withdrawal. Please open soon guys.

Unfortunately, they are closed until further notice. Huge amount of food. Neat shows the cooks put on for everybody. Good customer service and good atmosphere. It can be loud at busy times but a wonderful place.

Went here on a Saturday evening, it was packed and noisy . We sat at the bar and I ordered a Red Sangria which was $12 and delicious. I had the Scallops and Steak dinner. The soup, the salad, the mushrooms and onions sautéed in the steak and the scallops were all amazingly cooked and prepared. So much food I didn’t even touch the rice. The service provided was quick. Definitely would go again

Has been a family favorite for well over 10 years. Always top choice for celebrations and a great meal. The best part is the mound of food you always leave with! Piled high with exceptional goodness. Always fresh and tasty and well worth the expense as you leave with 2-4 more meals. They are always super accommodating. Don’t like one or more of the veggies? Just let them know and they take care of you. I personally dont like my rice to mix with (the most amazing) garlic noodles so they give me an extra plate to keep it separate. Love love LOVE them and will always be back!
