This place doesn’t look much from the outside, nor from the inside. But nevermind that. I haven’t seen such exceptional service in a while. What about the food? It’s locally outsourced, dishes are like they were homemade. And mostly you will get food recommended for you as it’s not listed on the menu. Be sure to book a table as otherwise you’ll be asked to come next time. A m a z i n g place.

I’m usually reluctant to sit at restaurants that sit right next to the tourist attractions, but we liked the view of the fortress from the terrace. We were not disappointed in the least, the food was amazing, the wine came in small (homelike) bottles, and the service of the waiters was great. Even if they spoke little English they tried their best to explain things to us and accomodate us. I highly recommend this restaurant.

We were on a bus tour of the area and had just finished visiting the Castle right next door. It wasn’t time to go yet, so we popped in for lunch. Had the fish and chips, the fish was flakey and tender. And very good, the fries/chips, well, they were typical of fries in France.
