Good experience. Fresh homemade burgers. I love the touch of being able to order a baked potato instead of fried with your burger. One suggestion, bring napkins out with the burger. While I was there, a couple of different people got up in search of napkins. Anyway, well done.

We stopped in to try this place and their Fry Box. Service is only diminished based on the appearance of being short staffed, so the wait was longer than expected. After an online review reel, we decided to try this place for a double-date night out. The menu has a lot of choices, but we settled on the Fry Box. For $26 you get up to four kinds of toppings each on a serving of fries. First, the fries…they were cooked well and their crispness stood up to the moisture from the toppings better than expected. We had the combo of French Dip Mac & Cheese, bacon Cheeseburger, Surf & Turf, and Bahn Mi. The steak in the surf & turf was thinly sliced like a cheesesteak cut and combined with the tiny shrimp, cheese and white sauce to make a very tasty combo. The bahn mi had a sweet + heat flavor (not too much heat) as a distinct contrast to the surf & turf. The cavatappi noodles in the French Dip Mac & Cheese were soft (past al dente) and did not disappoint due to the crispness of the fries. The mix of the cheese sauce and some steak created a luscious taste in your mouth. The bacon cheeseburger topping had some burger chunks, cheese, bacon, ketchup, mustard and mayo which combined to produce a diner-style cheeseburger meal taste with the fries.
All four were prepared well, though I would have liked a bit more burger in the cheeseburger fries. This is served in a small pizza box that is ready to take home as leftovers. It is a great option as a shareable with friends or a significant other. Ordering it for a table of four along with other menu choices would not disappoint.
The staff, even though they seemed short-staffed, took care of customer orders, drinks (+ refills), and cleared tables efficiently. We arrived before an influx of customers at 6pm on a Saturday. There seemed to be plenty of seating for customers who chose to eat in, while others had carry out.

First time trying the place after hearing so much about it. I ordered a bacon cheese burger with blue cheese , my wife ordered the French dip Mac n cheese.
My burger came out looked good but the bun was literally cold to the touch. Like it was sitting next to a window prior to being plated. My burger didn’t have blue cheese but was coated with mustard and some other crap that shouldn’t have been in there. My wife’s Mac n cheese – was a glob of mush. Over cooked noodles , that were just a sticky / tacky mess. Nothing like Mac n cheese normally is. It’s like it was sitting in a crock pot for hours and drying up. We split my burger and left the Mac n cheese. Used the restroom before leaving and the floor near the hallway / kitchen was so coated in grease it was slick. You had to brace yourself using the wall to avoid falling down. I don’t foresee us going back or recommending it. I’d rather have a burger from Runza or some fast food joint than eat here again.

Stopped into Hyde’s Slydes in West Omaha — definitely not the healthiest meal, but all things in moderation, right? Totally worth it.
My daughter had The Heat burger and gave it two thumbs up. Another had the boneless wings with fries — also a win. My oldest and I went all in on The Fry Box and split four varieties: French Dip Mac & Cheese, Surf n Turf, Bacon Cheeseburger, and Banh Mi. We absolutely devoured it. The only one that left us wanting a little more was the Mac & Cheese, but the rest? Spot on.
Service was friendly and fast, atmosphere casual and fun. Great spot when you’re in the mood to indulge. Would absolutely return.

Worst smash burger I’ve ever had. It was so burnt there was no actual patty to eat it was pure burnt gristle. Have previously worked in a kitchen making smash burgers for a fast food restaurant and can affirm you would have been better going to Freddy’s. Paid $55 for three meals. Got the bahn mi fries and they were good but as far as the burgers we were all greatly disappointed.

Unique little burger spot. The menu had some very interesting burgers on it and very unique loaded fries. Staff and kitchen seems small so large orders can make orders take a bit longer but the food is worth the wait. We dined in but there is also a drive through. They had a dirty soda menu as well but we didn’t try that.

Saw another review on this place and it sounded worth a try. Went for a sit down lunch and was skeptical when I saw the drive thru window. Decided to still go in and try it and was glad we did. My boyfriend ordered the Philly man and cheese loaded fries and I had a wrap. The sauce on my wrap was so good and just made it perfect and the fries were the best I’ve had in a long time. The staff person that waited on us was so efficient and accommodating. We did not try the burgers but saw others having them and they looked great.

Food was pretty tasty! The boneless wings were big chunks and came with quite a few. The burger tasted fantastic but was on the small side. Now the surf n turf fries were bomb! Orange creamsicle drink was everything I was hoping for. Staff was all nice and attentive.

We just tried Hydes Slydes for the first time and took my in-laws here while they were in town from Cleveland, OH. They knocked it out of the park! We were so impressed with the food, service, and friendliness of the owners. Truly a one of a kind spot. The food was amazing, I only managed to snap a photo of the fries because we downed our burgers quick. We are so impressed and we WILL be back!

We were really excited to try Hyde’s because of the hype it gets. The gentleman working at the counter was friendly and gave us some suggestions since it was our first time. We got a fairly basic burger, a cheesesteak sandwich I believe and specialty fry. I can’t remember which one. I had to use the restroom after ordering our food and omg, that’s when I noticed the filthiness. The rug in the hall by the kitchen and the one in the hallway by the bathrooms were so nasty. They had LAYERS of grease on them. I literally almost slipped and fell because of it. The tile underneath the rugs were just as gross. The bathroom was icky and not well maintained. The toilet paper holder was rusted. This was before we got our food so I already had a bad taste in my mouth. Then we got our food. It was bland. Way, way overhyped. And honestly, if you’re not cleaning the areas where your customers can see and use, I don’t even want to know what the kitchen is like. I really hope they take this opportunity to put a better procedure in place for cleanliness.
