I was told by a close friend that the hams here were very delicious and well prepared. He didn’t lie. Now mind you this is a place where you get what you pay for and it’s not cheap but any means. The ham is amazing and its cost is well worth it. I always prepare/season and bake my own store bought pre-smoked bone in ham every Thanksgiving but I wanted to try something different this year. Unfortunately the line was way too long which I didn’t expect so I missed my opportunity for Thanksgiving so I prepared myself for Christmas. I got one from their Gastonia location, it was 10-11lbs. A bone-in spiral sliced, smoked and glazed to perfection. We enjoyed every single piece of it. Nothing went to waste. It was definitely worth its cost and yes I’d buy it again. To be able to just heat and eat without any other adjustments to it is where it’s at. I 100% suggest if you’ve never had one to try it out if even just the smallest size it’s worth it.

Dear Honey Baked Ham Company ,
I wanted to take a moment to commend David (I believe that is his name), who worked on the front end during my visit on 1/29/2025. His service was truly outstanding and exemplifies what excellent customer service should be. He was patient, compassionate, and took the time to offer thoughtful menu suggestions. His professionalism was a key factor in creating a memorable experience.
I arrived close to closing time, around 5:36 PM, and I was still undecided between several options from the eateries in the area. David never once rushed me or made me feel like a burden. I noticed that they were beginning to clean, and I apologized for the late hour. David remained calm, friendly, and accommodating, which made me feel very comfortable.
Additionally, his coworker, who was handling the back end, did an excellent job preparing the menu option David suggested. The whole team clearly worked seamlessly together to deliver a fantastic experience.
Please extend my thanks to David and his coworker for their exceptional service.

I have not visited a Honey Baked Ham store in a while, but wow!
I was not immediately greeted by the associate who was cleaning the refrigerator doors and she was not very friendly once she did decide to help me. I guess the other associate noticed the look on my face and she assisted me with a more pleasant attitude!
Honey – I was shocked that a pound of this tasty ham is now about $17-18… Yup, I could’ve bought a whole ham and cooked it myself

Just spent $17 on a chef salad….from Honey baked ham. Which would be worth the price if it had actual honey baked ham and turkey on it. Why else would I spend that amount of money? Surely not for a box full of wilted arugula, loaded with the cucumbers I’m allergic to and requested to leave out. 4 slivers of ham end-pieces, and two small bits of turkey. We order our Christmas ham from them every year, I think we’ll pass in December. I’ve gotten better salads from Wendy’s. Sad, sad lunch for me at work today.
