Make reservations for the Friday night prime rib. It’s really tasty. It’s great to have this little restaurant so close. Alex’s Place has an almost familial atmosphere. The patrons are friendly and local. My drink was stiff but not overpowering. Farnaz is the sweetest server. My wife seems quite pleased. *Recommended*

All the charm of a VFW coupled with premium prices for sub par food. Went for the prime rib and couldn’t believe the pricing so ordered a steak. The steak was flavored of charcoal as they haven’t cleaned the grill in years. Was expecting better considering others reviews but honestly couldn’t find any redeemable quality in it. The service was slow and inattentive, but yes she was friendly just not very capable. In fact she gave us back our debit card with someone else’s. Wow

This was a very old bar/restaurant. We were looking for steak so we ordered a ribeye and a NY strip but got two ribeyes and baked potatoes with butter . The salad was extra. Overall the food was good. We were surprised to get the bill close to $100 with just water and tea. Our server was very nice and attentive. Overall the place was very noisy and not a place to carry on any conversation.

We found this place looking for “burgers” online nearby around 7pm. Darker comfortable atmosphere. The lady Server and Bartender was great managing everyone. It was nice evening place. What a delicious find.
I didnt know what to expect, but fantastic 3/4 lbs big burgers (swiss and american cheese) with fries and wonderful potato salad. We also had soup of day which was their own custom wedding soup. Real good.

We were back in the area traveling through and decided to try and find another local place for lunch to try. The food looked good, as well as the reviews. GPS said we were very close. So we went for it. The place and parking lot was very small. We double checked to make sure we were in the right area for the entrance. The doors were open and a couple vehicles in the parking lot. Once inside we walked all around and couldn’t find a sole. No customers or employees…no one. We waited a few minutes and tried to see if there was movement in the kitchen and nada. So we went further into down town and ate there. Sad disappointment it looked good in the pics. Misleading in person.

Let me start by saying we will be going back soon. The service was good, our waitress went out of her way to make us happy. The decor lacked a defined theme and it was warm inside. They were out of many popular beverages, but we still found things we liked. The food…. the food was fantastic!! My son ordered a steak Med-rare and it was PERFECT!! The steak hoagies were awesome! The fajitas were delicious!! Its dated inside, but the food was great.

This was our first time dining at Alex Place. This is a relaxed atmosphere with a full bar and dining. The service was very friendly and the food was delicious! We had the daily special which was BBQ Ribs. The portions were huge. With the entre that good, I wished I had saved room to try some dessert. There is always next time. The menu selection is on the small side. But I will take quality over quantity any day.

Loved this place. The food was excellent. It’s a small dark place. Non smoking. I probably wouldn’t go here for a night of drinking but will definitely be back for the food and atmosphere. My server was attentive and very friendly. I will definitely be back.

Without a doubt the worst restaurant in the area, the place is completely run down, dirty and looks like it was furnished with salvation army donations. The toilets were absolutely disgusting with rusted out fittings and stench of sewer gas.
The worst part though, Hands down was the food. Firstly this place is supposed to be family friendly yet there is no kids menu, trying to find something to put together for children to eat off their extremely limited menu was a struggle enough, if it had been edible then they would have gained a few points, however a few dried out chicken strips and a handful of fries for $22 is absolutely ridiculous and over twice the price of any other local restaurant’s version.
The star of the show though was my salted piece of shoe leather that was passed off as a new York strip at an astonishingly overpriced $39!.
This was one of the most dissatisfied I have ever been eating a steak, I asked for medium rare, what I got was a completely dried out, tough, overcooked slab of tasteless meat with enough salt on it to dry brine an entire cow.
Coupled with only a jacket potato with just a lump of butter and dollop of sour cream It certainly wasn’t worth the $38.99 asking price (It still wouldn’t be worth it at half this price).
Overall a complete and utter failure of an evening, from the cleanliness, lack of timely service and horrendous food I can honestly say the only highlight of the evening was leaving.
To anyone thinking of trying this run down restaurant, Don’t! Save your money and your stomach and head to one of the much better kept establishments nearby, this place is a hard pass.
