Unique, that is what you look for when visiting a small town. Spinwiches is a local High Springs lunch spot with a truly unique set of offerings (including Franchise options). They have just expanded the shop to increase the seating – which offers indoor and outdoor options, with a variety of cozy spaces for 1 to small groups of 6 or 8. The bread here is where the SPIN comes from – it is rolled onto wooden spindles and sliced open for your sandwich. Everything is fresh – from the potato salad to the ingredients and they always have a daily special. They have some great deserts that are an alternative to the amazing nearby ice cream shop, but different. Understand, you are very likely to have your order taken by the owner or his partner making your food. There is pride in serving you from the time you enter the shop. If you don’t like sandwiches, the salads are serious options to enjoy. So, for something you can’t get anywhere else, stop by and check it out when you are hungry.

Our food was delicious here and very reasonably priced for the portions! Everything was fresh and made in house, we had the soup of the day and chicken salad sandwich and both were delicious. A fun little spot with a twist on sandwiches, because their bread is unique but divine!

Been wanting to try this hidden gem. Greeted by friendly staff. They have just remodeled with the cutest decor with train doors from Egypt. Sat out back in the garden. I had the ham and swiss with big thick slices of ham with greens. My friend had the chunky chickpea which was so tasty. The peppers really come through. The dough on the bread is very filling. Both came with chips and I had the fruit salad with grapes and pineapple that was delicious. I will return to try dessert.

We have been to Spinwiches multiple times and loved it. Decided to try their Thanksgiving dinner this year. It was excellent! Value was great and the food was prepared to perfection. Was an excellent meal and we hope they offer it on more holidays!!

What a unique, delicious concept! My husband and I came here at the recommendation of my mother-in-law and not only were we NOT disappointed, but absolutely thrilled with the quality and taste of the food. Everything was fresh, the staff was lovely, and the owner so kind! My husband has talked about how much he enjoyed the sandwich for 3 days now. One of the best sandwiches either of us has ever had. Highly recommend!

Honestly they deserve many more stars! It is a very clean establishment! We were warmly greeted when we walked in. I had the polish sausage special which was outstanding, my guy had the ham and cheese which he said was also delicious. We then shared a dessert which our only regret is that we didn’t get two! Wowza it was also so delicious! We only live about 90 minutes away and will definitely go back very soon. Follow their Facebook page for their daily specials.

Hubby & I happened upon this gem last year, while passing through High Springs & were pleasantly surprised at the creative, flavorful options enjoyed during that visit.
As luck would have it, we were able to visit, yet again, this year (a 3 weeks ago) & so glad that we did so!
I missed out on the pulled pork last year, as that favorite had sold out, so I jumped on the chance to try it this time around!…Absolutely worth the wait!!..It was a flaky Spinwich roll piled high with tender, BBQ wonderfulness!
I was tempted to “pig-out” by eating the whole sandwich, but showed restraint, so that I could have leftovers to savor later!!. (I did bend enough to give my husband a taste, which he also enjoyed)
In all honestly though, I started my meal with a hot, tasty, hug-in-a-bowl of their Turkey & dumpling soup special, which was a perfect choice for the chilly December afternoon,& gave me a lovely start to my meal.
My Husband chose the Chickpea House Salad, complete with side of fruit, and of course, a Spinwich roll.
The salad was so colorfully presented; incredibly fresh; generously portioned; & wonderfully seasoned. Perhaps with one suggestion to use a spring-mix/spinach and/or kale greens combination that would seem more in alignment with your menu.:)
Last year we commented to each other on how much we liked the interesting, ambiance of the restaurant’s decor.
This year, we were so pleased to note that the restaurant expanded their seating area & floor plan while maintaining their unique, cozy, & stylish dining area.
Definitely worth the travel & so worth it to try their many specialties & specials!

Just love these small town / locally owned restaurants. Walking down main street, itbhas that vibe, old historic buildings.Had saved this place to my want to try list and today was the day!
We were greeted by several very enthusastkc workers, took our order and food came out fairly quickly. They make own unique spin bread i call it. Cant recall actual name for it, but it has like a croissant like texture, soft and buttery. I had Ham and swiss and wife and frie d both had the pulled pork. And we all in agreement we made a great choice for lunch.
It is definitely worth the short trip from Gainesville. Put it on your want to try list today!!
