Food was bland really could use some seasonings… you dont taste any cheese in the macaroni and the collards were undercooked and extremely bland. Meat loaf was decent 6 outta 10 and the cornbred was good. Pic shows rice and lima beans with smothered chicken… I couldn’t eat it due to lack of flavor.

Soul food in the corner store. The folks who work here are weathered by some challenging clientele, and if you treat them right you’ll be all good. Photo doesn’t do the food justice, it definitely hits right though. It’s soul food so don’t even think about counting calories here, so good!

I was at bike week and I walked pass this place 3 times because the line was so long and if you see that then you know it’s good! So the 4th time i waited in line when i finally came up to the serving area i was greeted with smiles and love! I ordered the Ox tails ,greens,black eye peas and rice deep dish cornbread and i will tell you this the food is constant and the best soul food i ever tasted it was just like grandmoms sunday dinner!!!!! Now it’s so good that i will take a 2 hour drive from north Florida just to get that taste of love in my tummy. All jokes aside if you like soul food please check them out the food is out of site! Also on a side note im headed back down 113 miles one way this weekend just to get a taste that’s how good it is!

Disappointed went to get breakfast this morning because I wanted some grits. I always order a small cause it’s just me and you get a nice portion. Lady told me today that they no longer do a small with the fish. I couldn’t eat anything else because I dont eat pork. Wish they had more options for non-pork eaters hence the 3stars, but the food is good. Service depends on the day and who you get can be good.
