Another great Chinese restaurant! It’s so good, I’ve visited once a week since being introduced to it! Friendly staff and quick service! There are two menus – the more authentic Chinese menu (where I ordered the Singapore noodles from) and the more Americanized Chinese menu has my favorite #10 – sweet and sour chicken almond chicken, chow mein, and fried rice. The rice is so fresh! Quaint space located right over the bridge before getting into the heart of downtown Pullman. Husband loved the Kung Pao – ample portions! So thankful for their business!

Absolutely delicious food and amazing service! We ordered off of the Chefs Specials Menu (authentic menu) and got the Hot and Spicy Chicken. It was phenomenal! The chicken was so crispy and the veggies were so full of flavor. The portions are meant to be shared so an entree and a dim sum could easily feed 2!

Hands down, the best authentic Chinese food I’ve had in many years!!

The Iron Wok is, without question, the best Chinese restaurant I’ve eaten at in a very long time. The dry pepper beef is absolutely outstanding—quite possibly the best Chinese dish I’ve ever had. This is not typical American-style Chinese food; it’s genuinely authentic, boldly flavored, and if you’re not prepared, very spicy (in the best way).

Everything else on the menu delivers just as well. The General Tso’s chicken, chow mein, and hot & spicy Szechuan chicken are all excellent, and honestly, you can’t go wrong with anything you order.

Beyond the food, the staff truly sets this place apart. They are warm, attentive, genuinely kind, and actually interested in their guests. Service is friendly, helpful, and welcoming without ever feeling rushed.

I live in two different areas of the country, and whenever I’m in the Idaho–Washington region—which is one of the places I live—I always make a point to visit The Iron Wok. It’s a place I intentionally return to every time I’m in the area.

The restaurant itself is clean, well cared for, and comfortable. The food is fresh, the service is attentive, and the experience is consistently excellent.

You won’t be disappointed. Thank you for yet another exceptional dining experience.

We got the Hunan Chicken and the House Special Chow Mein and they were both great!

The cashew chicken was great, the sesame chicken and the fried rice were fine, the sweet and sour prawns would have been better with the sauce on the side so they didn’t get soggy, and the egg rolls we ordered were spring rolls lol. Good spring rolls but not the egg rolls we wanted.

Great food. Not your typical breaded meat junks in different sauces. Quality ingredients, great texture and flavor. No soda fountain which is weird, but they gave me a can of soda with a cup of ice. Prices are pretty standard — 10-15 per plate at lunch, which is excellent for this quality of food. Good portion size.

Delicious stir fry lamb, beef noodles, steamed fish. The string beans were too spicy and salty though. Shrimps were ok. Sodium bombs

Micro-discrimination towards Asian guests: Lunch time, only three tables with people in the restaurant, I was the only Asian-looking guest. the waitresse was cold and without providing water to me.

Meanwhile, she (the waitress) provided sufficient service (dish ready in an efficient time, provided water) to white guests.

Some old generation Asian restaurants, just like this one, did terrible job on anti-discrimination with treating Asian guests differently from non-Asian, or more specifically, white guests.

I used to visit The Iron Wok back when they were in Moscow, so I’m thrilled they’ve moved closer to home here in Pullman. I ordered the Xiao Long Bao and the Roasted duck – both were absolutely fantastic and came out fast. The service was great too – friendly, attentive, and on top of everything. Really happy to have them in town now.
