We love the Square Rigger! One of the highlights is being able to see the chef in action—such a unique experience! He was not only incredibly talented but also very friendly and welcoming, which added a personal touch to the evening.
We ordered two pasta dishes, and both were absolutely phenomenal—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. You could tell a lot of care and skill went into every detail. The drinks were just as impressive—well-crafted and refreshing, pairing great with our meals.
We’ll definitely be coming back! Highly recommend!

Had a amazing experience here. We ordered the swordfish and the Salmon special of the day. Everything was so tasty and the salmon had real mango on it. Drinks were refreshing. Had the Berries margarita and smoked old fashioned. Will be coming back for sure.

The food was awesome! Great flavors and wonderful portions! My wife had the salmon, I had the paella. Both were absolutely delicious, and the staff was extremely pleasant and fun to be with! We are VINEYARDERS and found our new go to restaurant!
My wife and I went back one week later and were not disappointed!! Consistent excellence!!! Natalia, our waitress, was super attentive. Kamila made awesome drinks and introduced us to a delicious dessert ( a peach mousse, made from the chef’s mom’s recipe), and the chef, Everton, made an awesome paella for us both. The staff are warm, personable, and fun to be with.Very homey and family oriented with a Brazilian flare. The calamari appetizer was both delicious and plentiful, no skimping on the portion or the flavor!!!! This place is an Edgartown gem, and a much improved upgrade over the previous Square Rigger. We are so happy with our new place to enjoy a great meal, nice atmosphere, and fine people.

Square Rigger has been a long standing standing for so many families on MV! The new ownership has shown care into the new dishes and has kept the traditional ones as well! Great drinks and mocktails too, and a fun enviroment !

Table for 2. Clams Casino, (5 clams casino & 1 plain clam, no casino on the 6th one) Seafood Paella was good. Grilled Salmon was good & 2 glasses of house wine. The food was… good, nothing more, nothing less. It’s a nice/average place & very pricey, borderline overpriced… with 20% tip it came to $145.00+. They have 5 Star restaurant prices in a 3 Star place. The indoor dining room was empty. Service was sloooow at best. Our waiter (Team R) seemed a verrry naive & new to the restaurant business. We were his only table for the majority of the time we were there. He really didn’t know what he was doing, at all. If they were any busier, he would’ve 100% drown as he was already in over his head with not knowing what he should & shouldn’t have been doing.

Amazing food !!! Best Espresso martini! Came with my boyfriend and my mother and brother we came for pasta night and got pasta comes with salad and bread , so good!!!! Really nice people!!! Love there Pasta nights on every Thursday! The lady with the red hair was so so nice and accommodating. Cant wait to see what other special nights they have !!!

If you are looking for fresh, tasty and creative cocktails you should check out this place. The bartender Kamila makes the best drinks in town. I was amazed how good it tasted. Service is excellent too, Kamila was very welcoming and giving us detailed explanations about how she makes all the mixers for her cocktails from scratch. Do yourself a favor and get a dessert too, the crème brûlée was to die for.

Very good food, be prepared to wait… clam chowder was delicious, but needed a little more clams, the fish in the fish tacos was cooked to perfection, the ‘salsa filling’ was disappointing… not much flavor, just tasted like cole slaw.
Update 08/26/23… well folks… a year later & they’ve upped their game! Clam chowder just as good… BUT… the fish tacos are better because they added avocado , and an updated delicious slaw with red & green peppers with a tangy, lemony flavor! My compliments!

Amazing place to hang out after work and even for dinner. Wonderful wine list, and kamila makes amazing cocktails or mocktails! She always greets you with a smile on her face:) The Stuffed Lobster is my favorite!
