My wife and I stopped in for the first time yesterday. I’ve driven by every day after work and never stopped in before. The first thing I noticed when I walked in was it smelled so good in there. The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. The food was wonderful and wasn’t too salty.
I tried the bayou beef tips and the brisket sandwich with mac and cheese and mashed potatoes with gravy. My wife also had the brisket sandwich. Everything was delicious! I The portion sizes are good as well. I did the sriracha sauce and my wife had the tomato sauce with our meats. Very reasonably priced as well.
If you’re looking for great BBQ and don’t want to drive all the way into Cleveland, this is a great spot to go to! We will definitely be back!

Can’t say enough great things about Andrea and the food. Both were amazing! She is very friendly. She got me to try collard greens for the first time ever in my life and now I’m hooked. Had the brisket. Very tender and flavorful. My Wife had the pulled pork and loved it. She’ll also provide a free sample if you’re not sure about whether you’ll like something, but everything I tried was really, really good. The only problem was trying to pick 2 for my meal. No complaints about price to portion either. Glad I found this place. Will definitely look it up next time when I’m in area.

I loved the entire experience. Just coming in the door was enticing. The smell of fresh peach cobbler had me hooked. I got the catfish with black eyed peas, mac and cheese, wing dinner with greens, mac and an extra side of mac. Everything was delicious. A lot of food. Great price. Andrea is wonderful. She truly understands the customer and what customer service is all about. Highly recommend.

Great food- friendly service! Just found this on google. when I saw the place it looked small and didn’t know what to expect, but it was really good! And the lady was so nice I felt like I had a friend when I left! Would go there again. It’s a couple hours away from me but plan on making the drive one day just to eat there again.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Safe environment and it always appears to be clean. I fell in love with the restaurant immediately. The issue is, the food is never consistent. I purchased 2 wing dinners a week ago and both meals where terrible. Meat was cold and was cooked a while before. Mac n cheese tasted like it came out of the box and our other sides were cold. Just disappointed in the inconsistency. I have only been there 6 times.

Very clean. Very friendly. I got the beans & sausage bowl. Sooooooo…good! Just spicy enough. Had rice in with it. Cornbread side was also really good. The collard greens were not so spicy, but very flavorful. Prices were reasonable. If you are in the area, you should go!!!

Excellent food! Prices & portions are great. Friendly staff. We enjoyed the rib tips, turkey ribs, fried chicken, brisket & pulled pork. The brisket & pulled pork are our favorites. Yummy mac and cheese, cornbread & hush puppies. Will definitely go again!

We used to really like this restaurant and would recommend it to others but after our last few experiences that is no longer the case. If I could give zero stars I would. The flavor and quality of the food was lacking. The female behind the counter should not be working in any kind of service/hospitality business with the attitude she had. She was beyond rude, had terrible customer service and sub par food. If you are looking for that welcoming southern experience, you won’t be getting that here.
