One of the best meals I’ve had in a while. The service was fantastic, the atmosphere is nice but the food is out standing. We went for brunch and will go back again because there is so much more on the menu we’d like to try.

Had breakfast at Charmant NOLA this morning and loved every minute of it. We started off with Irish coffees, which were a great start to the cold rainy day. Then the Brussels sprouts, which turned out to be my new favorite in the city. I got the waffle which were so delicious! And my partner got the phomo – an incredible nod to the former restaurant! 10/10 recommend

Outstanding food, ambiance, and service.

I enjoyed a solo weekday breakfast of brussel sprouts and the Phomo at the bar, and couldn’t have asked for more. Jenna was excellent and made great suggestions.

If you think you’ve tried all the brussel sprouts out there and aren’t a fan, try theirs. Sumptuous yet not too heavy, sweet or oily, as other brussels tend to be.

The Phomo hit the spot. Savory, rich, yet not so heavy that you walk away sluggish.

Try it, you’re going to like it. I’ll be back to order their other dishes.

My husband and I visited Charmant for brunch while in town seeing friends and family and wanted to try a new restaurant. The atmosphere was lovely and truly lived up to its name. However, we noticed that the manager stopped by other tables but did not acknowledge ours, which made us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. The other guests did not look like us, which added to our concern.

On a positive note, the food was very good. I ordered the phomo and the Belgian waffle, and both were perfection. My husband had the crab dip, which was just okay. We were also fortunate to have the most pleasant waitress; it was her first day, and she did an amazing job. Best of luck to this wonderful young woman!

Had to brussel sprouts, crab dip and burger the first time. We are still talking about the brussel sprouts. Sooo good and we get brussel sprouts a lot of places. We decided to stop in again on our way out of town and had the lamb meatballs, croque madame and house breakfast with bacon(bacon was amazing.) Everything was great. Also had a couple cocktails that were very good.

Amazing food and wine list in a beautiful space. You must get the brussel sprout appetizer – out of this world! We can’t wait to go back for brunch or happy hour.

This review is for brunch, I’m still interested in trying their dinner service and happy hour.

Since they’re fairly new, they seem to be ironing out some kinks. When I arrived, no one greeted me at the entrance, but I noticed my party had already been seated, so I made my way over.

Our server wasn’t very knowledgeable about the menu items. They offer a shrimp and “grits” dish where the grits are actually made with farro grain. When we asked whether the base was cream or tomato, she said she’d check with the chef, but we never received an answer. We decided to try it anyway and discovered it has a tomato base. While it was flavorful, shrimp doesn’t complement farro particularly well, and considering we’re in southern Louisiana, they should really just serve authentic shrimp and grits.

My cocktail was excellent, and the apple dessert with ice cream was also very good. I’d recommend passing on their king cake interpretation, which is essentially just an eclair topped with purple sprinkles.

I went for the first time Friday for dinner. The food was great. My table specifically enjoyed the Moms Crab dip which was rich and tasty! The service was attentive and helpful and had some excellent recommendations both for the charcuterie and champagne!
