Great service (for the island) servers and bartenders are friendly and will do their best to accommodate. Insane views, at breakfast and dinner the giant flying fruit jets come and go from the trees. Food is better than most and the nachos, fish tacos and pancakes are excellent. Burgers are ok but expensive. Don’t order beef in Samoa, it will always be crazy expensive and disappointing. Goat island cafe at Sadie’s by the sea is open 7 days a week abc should be your go to.

This is a great spot for lunch or dinner; part of Sadie’s resort by the sea the parking is good, the atmosphere definitely caters to tourists (no pun intended), the views are amazing and the food is fantastic. Local flare if you’d like to venture out, but also good old Americana style food as well! The juices and smoothies are great and the fried wahoo fish wrap and poke bowl is an amazing combination. Word of warning…you have a choice of bottled Fiji water or tap water…they will charge you $5 rather way, so go with the Fiji water. Place is slightly pricey, but if you traveled here for leisure, it’s a good spot to feel like you’ve indulged. Worth it…don’t feed the wildlife!

This is the best scenic dining on the island. It’s next to a couple small beaches and looks out at the harbor. Chickens roam around while you eat and even though it’s next to the main road, it’s incredibly quiet and peaceful. We ate there for a few meals and had salads, fish and chips, smoothies, and fish tacos. The food was prepared well and the place had very friendly service. It’s the perfect spot for a sunset dinner or post-snorkel lunch. The parking is a bit limited but you can park in the hotel parking lot and walk over.

A great spot by the sea. Only one of a few restaurants in American Samoa where you are right on the water. The breeze was a welcome respite.
The oka (raw fish) was one of the best we have had on the island, the poke was a bit too salty for our liking.
The desserts – cheesecake was great – cakes were good but would have preferred real cream or ice cream to go with them rather than the mock cream they served.
The place- decor could do with some TLC – but overall we enjoyed our afternoon there.

We split an Oka and got a couple of cocktails. The Oka was fantastic! It was definitely big enough for us to split. Make sure you like cats though! We love them, but there are some incredibly friendly cats that will jump up on the bench seating to beg for your fish. The waitresses will shoo them away, but be prepared for friendly fuzzy locals!

We enjoyed our meals here. Breakfast, lunch and dinner. Make sure you ask for tap water otherwise it’s $4 per water bottle. And don’t let them take no for an answer. Some of the servers will tell you they don’t do that. Staff is super friendly though. Really liked the Oka but too much for me to eat by myself.

Restaurant is a part of the Sadie’s by the sea hotel. Relaxed,beachfront property with airy outdoor seating and cosy indoor seating. Friendly staff. Good food and ambience. Menu is not extensive, but has a reasonable selection of dishes. Prices are on the higher side of spectrum. There is a small beach next to the restaurant. Clear waters. A nighttime swim is an option. Ask for recommendation for fresh grilled wahoo and snapper. You will be taken over by the relaxed and friendly atmosphere and laid back demeanour of staff.

Stayed next door at Sadie’s so went here for lunch twice. The first time we had the Samoan oka and the spicy poke… So good! The second time we had the fish and chips. And sides of Mac salad. For some reason we had a larger side given to us the first time we visited than the second, (like twice the size) but charged the same price for it which was very disappointing. Forgot to take a photo of the fish and chips, but very fresh and tasty!
