The ingredients are great, the staff is polite, but you can tell they are overwhelmed, overworked, under staffed. One person on a sunday morning from open to 6pm thats a lot of responsibility to have one person carry all day. Its not right for your employees, its not right for your guests that choose to visit and enjoy some C.S. creamery.

Got our cake home and noticed three giant holes in the back of the cake. Honestly surprised whoever made this and put it on the shelf didn’t either notice or try to fix it. For the price you pay for such a small cake, I feel like this shouldn’t have happened. The worker was there alone when we went in to pick it up, she was super sweet but the only one working there at the time. Seems like they need better staffing and quality control.

I use to love going here for ice cream.. until I came in tonight 02/08/26 around 8:30 and when they prepared my ice cream and all of my mixes, the ladies didn’t wear gloves… when your handling food it’s always important you wear gloves.. it’s quite disgusting actually. The other lady had her phone propped up where the ice cream was being prepared and both were watching something on her phone. I kinda felt rushed and they seemed annoyed that I came in? Not sure but I think I’ll just go to a different location. :/

The ice cream was great, however I have never felt so unwelcome. My family was treated very poorly by the employee and his attitude was the worst I have ever experienced. Completely unacceptable.

Edit: The GM contacted me personally and made this right for our family. The time and sincerity in the apology was amazing and I appreciate the way this was handled. I have updated my review for these reasons.
For the price of this cake, it looks terrible. I understand writing on cake is not everyone’s forte, so just don’t offer it. It looks like my 2 year old wrote it. There are also thumb prints in the frosting along the base and some of the frosting missing. I can’t believe I paid for this cake ♀️

Horrible experience with ordering online directly with store. Order was supposed to be ready 8:15pm. No one acknowledged me for the first 10 minutes while 4 other people were also waiting for their pick up orders. Person in charge finally came from stocking in the back to start working on orders, meanwhile people in line who came after me were getting helped by the two other workers and got their ice cream super quick. I ended up waiting 50 minutes total .
When my husband and I inquired why online orders were taking so long the person in charge got extremely defensive and said she was only 18, no apologies given. She then said my husband and I were being rude to her after asking why the other 2 workers didn’t start helping to catch up the online orders. An extra bonus was only 1 of the 3 workers there were wearing gloves.

This is the Grandville location of Cold Stone creamery. The workers are always friendly, and the ice cream is good, but there always seem to be trouble at the cash register with items bringing up properly or the system just not working properly.

My boyfriend and I came in on Tuesday November 4th at 7:30 to get a sweet treat and we found 4 hairs in his ice cream. The girl apologized and remade it but still they should be wearing hairnets to avoid accidents like this in the future.

Went here on a busy night. I believe it was the manager running the shift but he was not great with customer service. Complained the whole time serving me and other customers. He should not work if he can not handle it and you definitely don’t complain about working in front of customers. I will not return.
