Went for lunch with my husband to celebrate his birthday, and the experience felt special from the moment we walked in. The space is strikingly elegant -an open-concept dining room framed by soaring floor-to-ceiling windows that flood the restaurant with natural light and create a refined, resort-like ambiance without feeling pretentious.
Service was polished and attentive. Our server, Joshua, anticipated our needs effortlessly and ensured our table was well cared for throughout the meal.
We began with the smoked salmon dip, which was exceptional -rich, smoky, and beautifully balanced. As devoted red-meat enthusiasts, we were eager for our entrées, and they did not disappoint. My skirt steak, served with potato wedges, was expertly cooked to perfection: tender, juicy, and deeply flavorful. The portion was generous enough to enjoy again later that evening. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his steak sandwich, equally satisfied with both flavor and preparation.
To drink, he opted for a Fig Old Fashioned -one of the house specialties -which was well-crafted and thoughtfully balanced, followed by a café latte. I had a lemonade that was consistently refreshed without needing to ask, a small but appreciated touch of attentiveness.
We concluded with a bread pudding that was nothing short of exquisite -warm, decadent, and the perfect sweet finish.
For $127 including tax, the value felt entirely appropriate given the quality, portions, service, and overall experience. A memorable birthday lunch in a setting that delivers both elegance and substance.

The place was huge, plenty of seating. I’ve gone twice. We’ve ordered the steak meatballs, coconut shrimp, sweet ginger calamari for appetizers. Excellent. Highly recommended. For the main dish, I’ve ordered the maple leaf duck confit, the seabass, and the rib eye steak. I preferred the appetizers. My seabass didn’t taste bad, but it was ok. The steak that I ordered medium well came as well done. The duck confit was a bit overcooked. Dor dessert we had Going bananas. Really good. Would get it again.

Made a reservation for s/o birthday/anniversary. Started with the staff opening the door for us as we were walking in. Once inside and greeted by the hostesses and confirmed the reservation they all said happy birthday which was very nice. Once seated, our waitress was promptly with us. We started with the calamari which was spectacular and delicious and presentation was beautiful. For main courses we went with the cedar salmon and skirt steak. Both of which were delicious and prepared perfectly. One of the highlights had to be the truffle mac n cheese. Best I’ve ever had. Absolutely delicious, a must get side! And i do not like truffle mac at all. So that says lots! Service throughout to say the least was exceptional and our waitress seemed to always return at just the right time. Will be coming back with company, this is a new local favorite and beautiful place to eat at. Thank you Kaluz for the amazing food and experience!

Kaluz Restaurant is absolutely stunning from the moment you walk in. The soaring ceilings, real orchids throughout, and immaculately maintained bathrooms (yes, I notice these things!) create an atmosphere that feels grand without being intimidating. It’s equally perfect for a romantic dinner or a fun nightcap espresso martini.
Our server Trevor was wonderful – the perfect balance of friendly and professional that makes you feel taken care of without being hovered over.
Now, the food: We started with the shrimp cargot appetizer, and honestly, the aroma alone is worth the visit. It had our mouths watering before we even took the first bite. The steaks were seasoned to perfection and cooked exactly as ordered – you can tell the kitchen knows what they’re doing. We finished with the brownie dessert, which was a chocolate lover’s dream.

I enjoyed the atmosphere. It looked great inside. Very clean and inviting. Our server was very friendly and knew a lot on the menu, he gave us a lot of suggestions of drinks and of the food. The burger was really good, I had mine medium well and they did amazing. My sister had lamb burger medium well, really tasty and fresh. My husband was surprised when they gave him hot towels to clean his hands after eating his ribs. They were very attentive. We look forward to going again.

Kaluz absolutely exceeded every expectation. From the first bite to the last sip, everything was exceptional. The grilled octopus was perfection!! tender, flavorful, and cooked just right, with that perfect balance of char and seasoning that makes you pause after the first bite. The crab cakes were equally impressive, packed with real crab, beautifully seasoned, and crispy on the outside while moist and rich inside. Easily some of the best I’ve had anywhere.
What truly elevated the entire experience, though, was our server Bella. She was phenomenal, very attentive, incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, and genuinely warm and professional. Bella made us feel welcomed and taken care of from start to finish, and her recommendations were spot on.
