I drove all the way from Kirkland to try Dubai Shawarma, and let me tell you, it was absolutely worth the trip.
The food truck was easy to find with plenty of parking nearby. As soon as I walked up, I was greeted by the super friendly owner who made me feel genuinely welcome. I told him it was my first time visiting and that I came all the way just for the shawarma, he appreciated it and even joked, “If you don’t like it, I’ll refund you!” (Spoiler: no refund needed ).
I ordered the Classic Chicken Shawarma with fries, $24 with tip. It was ready in about five minutes, beautifully packaged, and massive, seriously, the wrap is the size of a newborn! So if anyone says it’s pricey, it’s because this thing could feed two people… though it’s so good you probably won’t want to share.
The flavor was incredible, juicy, authentic, and full of that nostalgic Middle Eastern street-food taste that’s hard to find in the States. It instantly brought me back to shawarma spots back home.
If the owner ever reads this: please open a second location in Kirkland! Until then, I’ll happily make the drive again. Hands down, the best shawarma I’ve had in the U.S. outside of Michigan.

This was the worst shawarma I’ve ever eaten. I ate it on the way home because I hadn’t eaten anything all day. When I got home, I felt really sick and had severe diarrhea. My husband took a bite and just threw it away. I absolutely do not recommend this shawarma. I don’t understand how it got so many good reviews. I guess people just don’t know what truly delicious, high-quality shawarma is.
The ingredients they use to prepare their food are clearly not fresh.
They offered to redo it for free, but I refused because my health is more important to me.
By the way, they delete negative reviews on their Instagram.
I also forgot to add that you should definitely check your receipt before leaving, as the amount on the receipt was higher than my order.

I ordered a beef shawarma with mushrooms. It was very tasty and delicious and the sandwich was a big portion! I enjoyed it! Also, I have been there 2-3 times and the owner has always been friendly and provided great service.
The only reason I put 4 stars is because paying $24 plus for a shawarma is a bit overpriced in my opinion.

I enjoyed the packaging and crispness of the shawarmas ordered. I ordered a chicken standard and a beef with the fries + mushrooms and couldn’t say anything negative nor impressive about the $50 spent. More sauce and napkins being offered complimentary would have made the experience better. I would recommend eating here if you’re family is getting hungry and youre looking for something out not apart of the fast food chains, couldn’t recommend going out of my way or preferring it over more frugal/value options available.
Service was prompt, once the crew got my order in, it was put to work right away and my wait was relatively short with two or three orders in front of mine.
