Still like coming to this location. Food is fresh and service pretty friendly. Seemed a little pricier than my last visit, but you get a lot of food for the price. Not sure if it’s always been this way, but I’ve always ordered the three item combo, but only see prices for two item. I guess the third is charged at the individual price. Not bad, just news to me.

I can never decide on the third item and always try to get something new. In the future, I’ll just go with my two faves (lechón and spicy goat) and soup and save a few bucks. I really love their soup and ask for a larger size. Sometimes they charge and sometimes they don’t, but no complaints when they do cause it’s like an extra dollar. Well worth it!

With buffet style food, timing is everything. Was around 2pm and thought was a little late, since they put most of their food out before lunch. I guess Filipinos eat late, cause it was pretty busy and steam trays looked full and fresh.

All my faves were there. Lechon, spicy goat and lumpia. Last time they were out of lechon and lumpia was soggy like it was sitting a while. You have to order at least 10, but it’s not bad for about $3.50 when they are not too soggy.

It is cafeteria style with steam trays, so don’t expect the the freshness of cooked to order, but if you want fast and good, this is the place. Their free soup with combos is pretty great too and service always very pleasant.

Place was empty around 5pm with chairs on tables like they were ready to close. Steam trays looked full, except they were out of Lechon, my fave. Really wanted spicy goat though, so ordered that with pork adobo and some lumpia. Spicy goat and adobo was very good, but lumpia was soggy. Must have got the last of an older batch.

Service was friendly enough 🙂 and love that they give me extra soup for free. I guess it’s strictly lunch for me if I want my food a little fresher. Anyway, been a while and with the trip none the less.

I have fond memories of dining at this Filipino restaurant with my dad when I lived in the area, as the food was always fresh and delicious. However, my recent visit was a letdown. The food and customer service, particularly from the cashier, were disappointing.

I’m not one to typically rate restaurants harshly, but poor customer service should be called out. When I politely asked for four plates for my mom’s combination plate, the cashier responded sarcastically, questioning my request. We were only in town for the night, as I had an exam, and needed the plates to eat in our hotel room. A more considerate approach would have been appreciated.

Despite my frustration, I still thanked him for providing what we needed. Unfortunately, the restaurant has lost its homey charm, and my experience was far from the warm welcome I remembered.

Food is ok. The flavor is well deserved. What irks me is the server gives you little meat and more broth, sauce or soup on your order. The food what you paid for is only more broth as aforementioned. Observe the servers when you order your food. They will drop the biggest meat on the serving spoon and instead will replace it with less meat or bone and put it your container or your plate. Very upsetting. Only come to this place if you really desperately need to eat Filipino food when other restaurants don’t serve specialty menus on the list.

Very tasty authentic Filipino food dishes at this restaurant in West Covina. The bibingka was very tasty and even stayed fresh after a day of travel back to the east coast. The staff was very friendly and very attentive. Highly recommend them for any meal if your in the area.

Variety of dishes to choose from. I ordered to go and I can’t help but noticed the cashier wrapping the disposable bowls of soup with foil after placing the lids on them to make sure they are secure and to avoid spillage. Food was very tasty as well.

The good: fast service, kind and helpful servers
Turon and bbq chicken and bibingka were good!

The mid: bangusilog and tapsilog. Garlic rice was dry (wish they would offer half pancit). Good potion size tho

Next time I’ll try the longasilog and tocilog
