My husband and I ordered from Chipotle, and it was a huge disappointment. I asked for something very simple: chicken, beans, and cheese — making sure that nothing had spice because I hate spicy food, I find it disgusting and it makes me sick. Yet the dish was so spicy it was inedible. I took only two bites and couldn’t continue.
It’s extremely disrespectful that restaurants assume everyone loves spicy food. Not everyone enjoys or tolerates it, and they should at least warn customers or offer truly non-spicy options.
My husband ordered a burrito, and even though he does tolerate spicy food, he also found it way too hot.
We will never order from here again. It’s unacceptable that a place ignores customers’ preferences and health like this.

Worst experience ever came in after a long day couldn’t get a lunch so I decided to try the new chipotle it was empty inside which should had been my first red flag there was only one women in front of me and the employee serving her is just flirting and taking his time with her. Along with giving her a free sauce I just found it ridiculous how it took 12 minutes to make a burrito and get to serve the next customer. Not worth anyone’s time unless you want to be treated like you’re not ever there. Rowlett chipotle is better if you want a good experience

I’ve probably been to Chipotle over 1,000 times in the past 10 years while traveling full-time across the country in my RV, and I rarely leave negative reviews. But after visiting this location—and reading a few other reviews—it’s clear the manager here should be held accountable.
This was, without a doubt, the filthiest Chipotle I’ve ever seen. Only two tables were occupied, one person was in line, and yet the place was a mess. Trash everywhere, dirty surfaces, and employees just standing around laughing and chatting instead of cleaning up. It wouldn’t take much to fix this—just someone who actually cares.

I normally don’t complain on social media about restaurants, but the meal I received tonight from Chipotle was that bad. I ordered pickup—a salad with brisket for myself and a burrito with carnitas for my husband. I specifically asked for utensils and napkins, which were missing. When I opened my salad, the portion size was laughable—barely any lettuce, and the brisket came separate for some reason, with a small amount of meat. It was supposed to have fajita veges, but they were completely missing. My salad only filled half the container. My husband’s burrito was ice cold, with hardly any meat. His burrito was also missing the fajita vegetables. I spent $30 on this meal. Extremely disappointing.

Everytime I go here and eat in the portions keep getting smaller. When asking for “a lot of cheese” or “two scoops sour cream” or even the simple spoon scoop of chicken, the employees will constantly share gazes among each other seeking approval for that’s enough……it’s bullshit and won’t be back

The steak and chicken burritos were done well and are well seasoned but lukewarm and not warm enough – pretty disappointing. The service could be friendlier like we find at Royce City and other Chipotle locations. The furniture of the sitting area has gotten old and uncomfortable – definitely needs an upgrade so customers dining in can enjoy their meal. It’s conveniently located but definitely needs better management.

We ordered online and when we opened our bowls one of them looked half empty, they usually give us a good amount of ingredients but not today. Eventhough the order was correct when I called the restaurant it’s automated and there is no way you can speak to management. Instead you get an email to submit your issue and they will call you back. Or so they say.

I honestly do not know how this chipotle is still getting business. Most of the reviews are negative, yet nothing has changed the few times I’ve given this location a chance.
The employees do not take any precautions to ensure they deliver quality food. And when you do make an comment about it, they are 9/10 times are not going to do anything about it. (One picture shows how the employees packaged my food. They neglected to package the bowl correctly. Leading to it leaking into the flimsy bag and completely collapsing in my car and in the street.)
The ‘meat’ they offer should definitely be a concern for anyone who eats there. It’s not quality, always fatty and rubbery, while also offered in such a minimal quantity that it’s comical they charge for any meat at all.
The rice is always extremely sticky and is in clumps.
Whenever you’re inside the store and ask for a specific item, if they only have half a scoop left of it, that’s all you’re getting. The amount of times I’ve asked for a specific meat, and been given half a scoop of protein is WILD to me. (Also pictured is the result of a good 4 bites of meat, the remaining is just filler in the bowl.)
SAVE YOUR MONEY. For the amount of money they try to charge for low quality food and experience… you could 100% go somewhere with higher quality food and portions.
And just to add, nothing has ever been done about a review of this location

Chipotle not sure what’s happening….but I purposely drove from Rowlett to Rockwall in hopes of a better experience but was disgusted and disappointed at the Rockwall location as well. The restaurant was an absolute mess. They employees in the kitchen were talking about how they need to work the afternoon shift because in the morning they get sent home and they don’t get hours while being rude to each other and complaining the whole time. The first bag of chips I purchased were stale, the second bag had brown burned chips with so much salt you couldn’t eat them, I went to the counter and the lady that was on the register was so rude and seemed like we were inconveniencing her, purposely ignored me and had a terrible attitude all together (7/23/2024 @1:20pm) they didn’t have straws, no spoons, large chunk of cheese in my sons bowl, chicken was not cut and tasted funny. The restaurant was so dirty. Will not be returning to this location.
