This Spanish restaurant in Montclair was a wonderful experience from start to finish. They offer two hours of free parking, which is very convenient in the area.
We ordered sangria, and it was delicious. The service was outstanding — very attentive, especially when our warm bread ran out; they immediately offered more. We also ordered paella, which had an incredible flavor and arrived very hot, as if it had been made fresh to order.
They served what seemed like house-made crispy potatoes, small and perfectly cooked. At one point, I dropped a fork, and the staff quickly noticed and replaced it without us even asking — a small detail that really shows their level of attention.
The price felt fair for the quality of the experience, and I was honestly surprised — my wife usually isn’t a big tipper, but this time the service truly earned it.
To finish the meal, they brought warm towels to clean our hands, which was the perfect touch to close the experience.
Five stars — or more. Highly recommended.

We celebrated my girlfriend’s birthday at Sayola, and it was absolutely perfect from start to finish. The food was outstanding — every dish was flavorful, beautifully prepared, and served fresh. The service was top-notch; the staff was friendly, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcome.
The ambiance was elegant yet comfortable, with a great vibe that made the evening feel special. The music and dancer added an amazing touch to the celebration — it really elevated the entire experience.

We were 2 couples both celebrating our anniversary and decided to go here as we all remembered enjoying their location in Tenafly years ago. Service was not good and neither was the food. When we arrived the main dining room was attractive and had several tables available but they stuck us in the small boring side dining room which had a table with 2 ladies and another with a male couple also celebrating their anniversary. (all other tables were empty). We decided not to make a fuss and stayed where we were and had fun engaging with the other couple celebrating as we sat next to them. They did acknowledge our anniversary on the dessert. They did not have many choices and after the disappointing meal decided to keep it simple. As we left, the manager was near the door and we expressed our disappointment with the food and service. He basically ignored us and had nothing to say. We were ok with that as there are so many restaurants around with good food and service.

Dined here for the first time with another couple. We were able to make same day reservations and were seated on time. Staff was very friendly throughout our experience. We ordered a variety of cocktails, appetizers, entrees, and desserts. Everyone really enjoyed their meals. Overall a nice dining experience!

I discovered this amazing restaurant by accident on a girls night out last month. I decided to go back on a Flamenco Night Show. Flamenco is a dance from Spain but I believe it is also dance in other parts of Europe. Francisco has been amazing both times. Making reservations was smooth and he goes over details on the phone. I caught the last dance of the season. They will return again in the Fall. Show $ includes appetizers, meal and desserts
PARKING there is a parking right across the restaurant, you use the app to pay and is AFFORDABLE! The parking garage on the side street is expensive, the first time I went I paid $33 for two hrs.

We had an excellent experience. The place has beautiful decor, everything looks neat, the service was attentive , food and drinks were wonderful. We went to see the flamenco show the day Hernán Romero and his group performed. Very professional, the show was spectacular. We will be back, highly recommended!
