This is my third time purchasing dinner here. The first two experiences were superb. Today I’m leaving a review before I can even eat my dinner. I entered the restaurant and proceeded to the back where I always retrieve my food. There was a woman standing at the bar back tending to two other guest. She nodded her head at me in a ?yess? Manner. I waved because youre still tending to the guest in front of you. Im not going to talk over them or violate their space while they are paying for their order. The woman gave me the illest look as i walked past her to the next host. So I proceeded to the woman standing at the table to tell her what im picking up. She handed me my order and informed the woman at the bar who I was picking up for. The woman’s tone was friendly stern but when I questioned the price she immediately took a defensive tone with me. I immediately apologized and said I thought I heard a different price and did not hesitate to pay for the food. While paying and leaving She still had a distasteful disgusting tone because I asked about the price. It was a simple mistake that I did not mind covering the difference for. Needless to say, because of her I won’t beback. I like my food prepared and handled with love. Not stress and anger. She ruined my appetite actually. Maybe it was the black hoodie I was wearing that made her leary of me. I dont know but the experience was unpleasant enough not to spend my money there again. Plus this Styrofoam sauce cup was placed in my hot rice. It’s obviously melting and seeping toxins into my rice. For almost 60 bucks, I think customers deserve better.

I recently visited Atlanta for a friend’s wedding, and I was very disappointed by the food overall however when I got the oxtail pizza from here that quickly changed. It was one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had in my life. I thought it was very flavorful and it had high-quality ingredients which I absolutely loved 10 out of 10.

The food here is absolutely delicious so fresh, flavorful, and authentic! The griot and rice were amazing, and the pikliz had the perfect spice. Customer service was top-notch, everyone was so friendly and welcoming. The owner is spectacular super kind and really passionate about the food and culture. You feel like family as soon as you walk in. Can’t wait to come back

This was my first time going to this restaurant and I was so excited that there is finally a Haitian restaurant on that side of town. The service was incredible I order to go and we got served water while we waited the server continuously check on us and then I decided to try their mango Margarita while I waited and it was incredible and greatly priced. I ordered the Fried goat and it was amazing. They give great portions of food for the price I cannot wait to go back and try everything on the menu. I love that it is a mix of pizza regular style and Speciality, authentic Haitian food and an amazing bar with hookah and live performances on certain days. I would definitely recommend this to everyone!!!!!!

When I first stepped into 1804 Pizza Bar & Lounge, I was drawn in by its chill, welcoming vibe — not flashy, just relaxed and comfortable, the kind of place where you can unwind and be yourself. The space has a cozy, lounge‑atmosphere: dim lights, casual seating, and a mix of laid‑back energy that works whether you’re there to grab a bite, hang out with friends, or enjoy a drink.

The people working there were friendly and attentive. Even when it felt like the place got a little busy, service stayed smooth and easygoing — I never felt rushed or ignored, which made the visit all the more comfortable.

What stood out most: 1804 really delivers on “good for the vibe.” It doesn’t try to be fancy or pretentious. Instead, it’s down‑to‑earth, unpretentious, and honest — which gave me the sense that this is a place built for real people, not showy dinners. For what I got (ambience, service, and a solid night out), I felt like it was worth it.

It’s not the kind of spot you pick if you want something ultra‑elegant or “fancy date” style. But if I’m looking for something easygoing — maybe a casual dinner, a relaxed hangout, or a laid‑back night out — 1804 hits the sweet spot. I left feeling content, relaxed, and already thinking I’d go back next time I’m in the mood for exactly that.

I came here for lunch on a Friday. The whole place is decorated with Haitian art and colors. It was clean and neat. It had a sports bar vibe. There was plenty of seating. I sat at the bar. The bartender, Denise, was really nice and I asked for a drink and she recommended a haitian rum punch. It was delicious and I couldn’t taste the alcohol. It was definitely in there. It snuck up on me after the second one. I also ordered some hot and honey wings. It was delicious and the wings were big. I will definitely be back.

After trying different restaurants, I was happy to find a good Haitian restaurant in Atlanta.

PRO: Being from Miami, it’s hard to find authentic Haitian food here, but I was happy to have finally found this place because the food is good (although a bit expensive).

CON: the wait time, which is typical for Haitian restaurants. I’ve tried calling ahead of time on several occasions, but no one ever answers the phone. My first time there, I went inside after unsuccessfully reaching someone, and the young lady had the phone right in front of her, smh. I was a bit upset but wanted to try the food, so I ordered then left to run some errands before heading back to pick up the food. The other times, I just ordered via Doordash.

About a week ago, I was really craving fried fish and wanted to try it. I tried calling 3 times to see if I could order ahead of time, but no one answered. That was the last straw for me because ordering via the food apps gets pretty expensive, and I’m a new mom, so I wanted to pick it up before going to get my baby from the sitter. It’s unfortunate, but I will no longer attempt to visit this restaurant. I ended up ordering fish at a Jamaican restaurant near my house.

Never again!

As a haitian, I am truly disappointed. The food was ok at best. Pikliz, griot, diri kole is what I ordered as well as a smoked salmon patty. The groit was very dry, the rice and pikliz was ok. Soda from a can. No haitian kola. The patty wasn’t the traditional flaky patty. It was fried hard and the salmon was mixed with chicken and a hard boiled egg. If you’re from up north or the Miami Ft Lauderdale area then you know what I’m talking about, this is a violation. What are we doing?!?!

The waitress is what made my experience go from ok to never again. She was clueless about the haitian offerings and was more concerned with her hookah customers. Making a hookah for a customer, smoking it, wiping the mouthpiece with your hand, then handing it to the customer is absolutely disgusting. No checkin. After receiving togo boxes we sat there waiting for 20 minutes before finally getting her attention for the check.

Worst of all, finishing my visit with automatic gratuity for two people with an attitude is not ok. How do you have your customers waiting an excessive amount of time and YOU have an attitude? Has me wondering if that’s the reason she was acting this way. She was getting paid regardless of her service or lack thereof in my experience.

It definitely leans Americanized Haitian food. The ambiance is what brings you in but, unfortunately, the food and service will keep us away. This is not representative of my people or our amazing food.

Honestly I’ve had a long week and im staying in a New area for a few days, decided to come here because it was close. As a active bartender, the service i received was bare minimum. The bartender was never personable and didn’t seem to care outside of me simply ordering. I ordered 4 doubles and she never even told me her name nor wonder or ask if i have ever been here before which i HAVEN’t. I paid $12 In gratuity and honestly i would ask for it to be taken off by law but as a bartender and seeing how clearly she doesn’t have clientele i have a soft spot for us making money so i didn’t caused a fuss… but this is definitely something we as people need to have A conversation about, it’s horrible.. wonder if her attitude would’ve been different if gratuity WAS NOT ADDED… in this snowing weather I would’ve definitely had a better experience somewhere else.. (had to talk to the person next to me to get any entertainment) i genuinely want (us) to do better!

This is going to be a hit!! I’ve been waiting for a restaurant like this and it’s right in Union city! I love Hatian food and music!!

: The pizzas, I had the Oxtail and Griot Pizza. The flavor on both were very good. Due to size of venue performances are more intimate. They had a Dope live event!

: The toppings were the same on both pizzas, as a result they taste too similar. Skimpy on the meat. Barely had Griot on it. The drinks weren’t that strong. Everything is pricey.

: The inside was small, not very much seating. The parking area is very small as well. For large events there is nowhere to park. Hopefully the neighboring lot allows there patrons to park there.

I went for the Grand opening, they have time to get the kinks out. Looking forward to going back on a regular day.

Update: Went back today and redeemed my free wing coupon and purchased a Smoked Herring Haitian Patties with boiled egg. The patty was so good! Wings were kinda big, I prefer them extra crispy. The fries were tasty, didn’t need ketchup or anything.
