First of all – I absolutely love the sushi here. It’s one of the best spots in Old Town. Super fresh fish and creative rolls. The miso soup and salad are always great too. And don’t skip on the appetizers – gyoza, shumai and hamachi Kama are so so good. However, the service is always a little slow and the vibe/decor is just kinda eh and just a little…cold? Not very warm/welcoming. I stick to takeout usually and again, the sushi is top notch.

Great place and delicious sushi. I love salmon and got a salmon platter with 5 sushi nigiri, 7 sake sashimi and salmon roll. Fresh salmon, what can be better! Raw sushi is how I determine the quality of the food, because you can’t hide it with sauces, other ingredients or tempura that changes or hides the taste. The service was top notch, we needed to only look at the server, and they would come to us right away. They were actually standing in close proximity and waiting. The decor of the place was very pleasant and cute. We had a great time. Oh, and water, they brought it out in a bottle and glasses with ice as soon as we sat down, we didn’t need to ask for it. Great place, I will definitely be back to try other rolls and will update the review Enjoy!

The sushi was absolutely outstanding! fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Every bite was a delight, and you could tell the ingredients were top-notch. We tried a variety of rolls, each one unique and delicious in its own way. The chef’s creativity and attention to detail really stood out.
We also appreciated the thoughtful touches throughout the meal, like the perfect pairing suggestions and the attention to dietary preferences. It’s rare to find a restaurant that combines such high quality in both food and service.

I eat sushi 2 to 3 times a week because I travel a lot. Sushi looked good, but it just did not meet my standards. Something was off with the rolls. Maybe the rice? Not sure. Appearance was nice but flavor just was not top tier. Tuna was low quality as it was pink and not dark red like it should be.

We had a lovely dinner here! Age Tofu was delicious, sushi was great and fun fruity beer selection. The atmosphere is not very warm with the concrete floors but the service was friendly. Will be back!! Thanks!

Food was tasty and big portions! Service was a little slow even though it wasn’t busy on a Wednesday night. Restaurant is clean and welcoming. Prices for dinner were a bit high for some items. Lunch menu seems to be more options for reasonable prices.

Delicious and authentic Japanese food. They get 5 stars on taste, presentation and service. Only suggestion I’d make is to maintain more of the Japanese culture by playing their music vs R&B. Get the Osaka roll. You won’t regret it!

I realize how important reviews are for small businesses like this one; specially for sushi which is so unique particularly for knowing which places have fresh seafood. I came here several weeks ago with very moderate expectations. Everything was delicious. The sashimi platter was phenomenal as well as the specialty rolls. This place is definitely fresh and worth a try.

I’ve removed this restaurant from my favourites after our last visit. I had previously enjoyed coming here and brought my parents-in-law and family, which made the experience all the more disappointing.
We asked our server for hot tea and were ready to order, but he said he would return shortly and never did. We were the only dine-in table, yet after waiting around 15 minutes neither the tea arrived nor was our order taken.
Another staff member, who appeared to be managing takeout orders, repeatedly assigned tasks to our server while telling us he would attend to us. When we asked if we could place our order, we were given no explanation and simply told to wait.
At the moment I asked again, the server was coming out of the kitchen holding the tea, and the staff member I was speaking to looked at me and said, “he is coming.”
Service had never been like this before.
