We had a great experience at Porque no?! I ordered the chilequiles with Al Pastor and it was delicious. A little on the spicy side, but I was fine with that. It looked just like the picture on the menu, and tasted amazing. We also shared some fries which were decent, and very welcome as an appetizer. I tried both the tortilla chips and potato chips which were housemade and they were really good. Nice folks working there as well.

Some of the best and most unique tacos around. Great breakfast burritos and tortas as well. And the fact that it happens to share a space with a bar is pretty nice if you want to have a beer or cocktail with your meal.

Simply the best chilaquiles I’ve ever had. We got them with al pastor meat. The serving size is extremely generous, and every bite was incredible. The chips were fresh, and it was so freshly made that they were still a bit crunchy in parts. Perfect textures, perfect flavors.
We also got the breakfast burrito, which was absolutely massive. They do not skimp on portion sizes.
I wish I lived closer so I could come here again soon, but I’ll be recommending it to anyone going anywhere near Oakland.

This place has the best Chilaquiles I’ve ever had. I also came back and tried their super tacos. My fiance had the regular tacos and they were both amazing. I recommend this spot.

I loved the food, the service and the overall ambiance of the restaurant. I got the super shrimp taco and it came in a cheesy crispy shell with a-lots of shrimp and guac on top . The onion rings were very crispy and delicious. I had a minor problem with my order and the chef OMAR personally made sure that my issue was taken care of and also gave complementary food to make up for it. They not only provide delicious food but an excellent customer service. I can see this business growing much popular in the near future.

I always come here when I travel for work. Super burrito and super tacos are the best! And the owner is awesome and takes great pride in his work. If you are looking for good food or to try something new, this place is the spot on won’t disappoint.

Loved the torta Jalisco and chilaquiles from Porque No? Tacos. The pulled pork is heavy on the seasonings and super tender. The whole sandwich is heavy on toppings, which is just how I like it. The artful display of chilaquiles, with a perfectly crunchy carnitas add-on, hides just how much food there is on the plate.
Overall bar/restaurant decor is sports bar vibe, and I’m not into that….but the food is worth it.

The restaurant is open for outdoor seating and take out. Best camarones taco I’ve EVER eaten. Portions appear small, but are actually very filling. Good prices. Great selection. Excellent customer service. Street parking. A must-visit in Portland.
