First things first. Excellent sandwich.
I stopped here for a quick lunch on a Sunday. The staff behind the counter were head-down busy. There were at least ten online orders being fulfilled and the back of the house was working hard doing their part.
In the midst of this a very pleasant young lady acknowledged my presence and said that someone would soon take my order. In a second a young man who suggested I try a hot sub today- I chose the Original which I always do, and Mike’s Way at that. Why mess with perfection?
The entire staff was noticeably young- like High School age, but they worked well and my order was crafted and delivered faster than you can say “extra onions”
Delicious.
One note, I was looking for the restroom but only found an unmarked door (locked) so I’m not sure what provisions were available or not.

I was totally anticipating this place on Kent Island and couldn’t wait to try them. The first thing that kind of was a bit of a shock was the prices,.I honestly had never heard of a sub over $20,.but anyway I was there and very hungry so I ordered the cheese steak. The guy at the counter asked if I wanted the onions grilled and I was like, “sure”. He right away handed the order to the cook and they started to make my sub. I was kind of surprised he didn’t ask what I wanted on it before handing over the order and jumping to the next person in line. I assumed that they cooked them up first and then ask what you want in it, ala Subway. So I kind of lingered in front of the toppings waiting. All of a sudden the cashier called me over to pick up my already wrapped sandwich. I said,.”was I supposed to inform what I wanted in it prior to making it?”,.and she said, “yes”,.I then said,.”well I wanted several toppings and nobody asked me at all except about my onions being grilled”,..she offered to make me a new one, but I was hungry and pressed for time and they were very busy so I just took my plain, grilled onion cheese steak home and ate it.,granted it was very plain tasting without my desired toppings,.even my wife said,.”that looks pretty bland”,.my gripe is the organization of course,.don’t be in such a hurry to not ask a customer what they want on it,.I had a neighbor tell me they did the same to him with an Italian cold cut. He said they did the meats and cheese and wrapped it up without asking about veggie toppings. It’s like they are trying to save a penny and not hook it up unless you ask,.so just be aware?,.just in if you go to in t my ere for carry out, order it as if you are ordering on my the phone or app,.tell them the toppings right away or you are gonna get a plain original sub with no toppings,.and be prepared to over pay with a tip push at the register starting at 15%,.and I paid for it before my experience of neglegence. I hate paying a tip before I get my food,.cuz it gives them the right to be bad at their job,.cuz they know the tip is already paid and don’t have to earn it.Just my thoughts,.

Unprofessional Environment, Felt very judgmental. Got both of my orders wrong. I ordered a cheesesteak with no onions and they gave me a chicken cheesesteak with a lot of peppers, will not be returning.

First time trying this chain and was completely disappointed. We tried the app and picked up the order and took it home. I should have checked it there, but 70% of the toppings for my sub weren’t even on it, it was just lettuce and tomato.. My wife’s sub in a bowl might be for some people but it was basically chicken salad and lettuce soup and was just not appetizing. Finally the kids meal for my son, didn’t have the cookie with it.. When I called to complain the cashier was mostly helpful remaking my order but when I mentioned the cookie they said oh sorry we don’t have them and offered a substitute, so if they can’t fulfill the order you just don’t get it? No one was going to tell me? Even when the order was done correctly, for the price the product we got was definitely not worth it. I don’t recommend this place, there are plenty of better cheaper alternatives locally.

Overall, I was pretty impressed. I stopped to get me and the wife some food after work and getting her the Original Italian and I ordered the Philly Cheesesteak. It seemed like a lot of the workers in the back area weren’t doing much of anything as a friendly gentlemen with a beard cut my sub then a tall young man put on my toppings, bagged my sub, and rung me up. While he was doing that a lot of the other employees just floated around. Both subs tasted amazing and we definitely will be coming back as we were super excited to hear that there was an opening! (via the mail) While I waited for my sub, me and the young gentlemen talked about my eagles and his bucs which helped the time go by. The Wife Scale gives it a 5/5 and I’d give it a 4.5/5.

I have eaten at many (10+ locations) Jersey Mikes over the years and I am not sold on this location, there was no Jersey Mikes signature taste or quality. I decided to try this one, because I was excited to see they put one closer to home, but this one gets a big “NO” from me for now. Not sure if they are too new yet, but I was not WOW’d by their subs at all. It was missing something and was off (Very little meat, no taste, dry, assembled extremely sloppy). I ordered the Giant Italian and a Regular Philly Cheesesteak on the evening of 4/9/25. To start, I’m not sure if they are following the trend of most of the other Eastern Shore, MD sub spots where they skimp you on the meat, but there was barely any meat on either sub unlike all other locations I have tried, it was just mostly all bread. Anytime I eat at the Annapolis location or Cambridge, I can say this is the signature Jersey Mikes taste, but not at this one. My daughter even normally devours her sub, but she barely even touched these. Next, the subs were assembled very sloppy, falling apart, it was like a child made the sub, had no taste and was extremely dry like they skimped on the mayo and oil and vinegar. I knew something was off when I picked up the bag and it seemed very light. The location was nice and clean, as expected, because it is brand new and the staff was friendly, attentive and professional, but MAN, they just need serious work on their sub assembly, That food was way off from the signature Jersey Mikes experience I am loved for 10 years + and very disappointing considering that their subs aren’t cheap. This was very comparable to a grocery store or 7-11 pre made sub.
