This is a new location of an existing restaurant. People that haven’t eaten here ask me if it’s Mexican. I tell them it’s “Whitesican”, lol. If you dine in they give you free chips and salsa. The meat is seasoned and cooked well, they have my family’s favorite crisp burritos (they’re more like deep fried flautas), and the new chipotle aioli is bomb. My personal go-to is the soft beef burrito. The tots could be crispier but they still taste great. The prices in general could be better, especially for the loaded tots considering the amount of food. That said, it’s entirely understandable given current high costs for food and labor. Overall, it’s the same restaurant we know and love and I’m stoked that there is a new location. Tumbleweeds is a Tri-Cities Staple!

Very mid experience. Ordered a taco salad with no meat/pinto beans instead and added jalapenos. Was not given jalapenos and charged extra for pinto beans (despite it not be advertised as extra when subbed for meat). The salsa was bland with no heat, seasoning, cilantro, onion or lime. Basically just tasted like diced tomatoes. The taco salad itself was almost all lettuce- even though I was charged extra for my beans there were barely any. There’s an upcharge for onions/cilantro/jalapenos as well- which most taco salads automatically come with. I’ll maybe try them one more time, but I won’t be ordering a taco salad again. For the price just go to a legit Mexican restaurant where taco salads actually include all the components that make them delicious.

Not great but pretty good. Better than a fast-food joint and about the same price. Had the Nachos and my belly is stuffed full. Fresh Jalapenos…not from the jar. 81/100 – Upgraded my score due to the 2nd and 3rd visit. Glad they don’t use baked cheese on Nachos. The hard tacos are amazingly small. I don’t even know how they purchased shells that small. Shrinkflation will eventually make them even smaller somehow in the future. 20/100 on the Hard-shell tacos.

Nice staff, who are also the owners btw! Reasonably priced I thought, two white claws and pork taco sliders (not typical sliders, they were three fried tacos things, and quite good!) came to $26. Meal came with complimentary chips and salsa. I went here for a paint night and I’ll be back!

Tumbleweeds happily sponsored a fundraiser for The Academy of Children’s Theatre. ACT is very grateful for the support and for the space for their Adult Show Choir, the 509 Follies, to perform! A great time was had by all, and the food was delicious! A particular favorite amongst the alumni were the Steak Foldem’s! I also recommend the Grilled Steak Burrito with Queso inside (and ask for the grilled cheese crust!) Don’t forget to top it all off with a wine slushie (or 2!) SO GOOD! Thanks for everything, Tumbleweeds!!

Expensive with no chips and salsa. Small portions. The rice was mushy and overcooked with way too much tomato sauce and cumin. The meat in my taco bowl was excellent but the dish needed sauce or salsa. It was dry. We have many better options in the area.

While visiting from Australia and staying with friends I was taken to one of the trailer sites at Wheat Head Brewing Co. and I had the Churros. OMG they were incredible and I can say it was totally worth the drive!
