I just started work down here in the Monroe area and I had to enjoy something truly local or home-grown by the beautiful shores of Lake Erie. Harbor Hook and Grill caught my eye as being an excellent choice for a first dining location near the beautiful lake. I got the fried Walleye sandwich which was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend this place to anyone in the area looking for good eats. The interior design was truly gorgeous and gave a relaxed sensation to guests. 5/5

Stopped by for lunch and it wasn’t crowded. The food was great, I had a chicken cesar salad and walleye bites. Both were excellent! Our server Carol was very nice and attentive. She made sure we were taken care of.

I came here for lunch with a friend and I had the best chicken sandwich that I have ever had in my life and I am not playing. It was absolutely perfect The chicken was succulent, moist and seasoned meat with a crispy crunchy coating. The brioche bun was the perfect foil for the chicken. I was like oh my God girl to my friend and I even encouraged another patron to try it. My friend had a Waygu burger and she liked it. We both think the French fries were delicious. The Long Island iced tea was so good that I was glad that I wasn’t driving. I’ll be there again.

We absolutely loved this impromptu stop!! The chefs not only agreed to use gluten free wraps for my Mahi Mahi tacos, but went the extra mile to prepare them as tacos, not just the traditional wrap- Genius and Delicious!! The waitress was also careful, proactive and Cheerful about accommodating our dairy sensitivities- very much appreciated! Our mule was pretty weak, but still tasty and sweetly presented in a non-traditionally shaped copper “mug,” adding to our overall delightful dining experience! PS if you like hush puppies and fried pickles, GET THE PICKLE PUPPIES!! They ALSO are genius and delicious!!!

The Beyond burger wasn’t. It was some other kind of veggie burger. It wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t what I expected. The chips on the side weren’t good. Definitely not the “can’t only eat one variety”.
Service was great. Friendly and informative. They alerted me to menu items that might not fit my dietary preferences.
The atmosphere was OK, but the view wasn’t as good as we hoped.

On our road trip back to Canada, we wanted to find a spot along the water for a late lunch/early dinner so we stopped here.
We were greeted immediately in a very friendly manner and requested a seat on the patio. There are a few umbrellas but only provided shade on your front at 4:30pm. The wicker type bar height chairs are not very comfortable. The view of the water showed us some boats docked.
Our Server was named Riley and she was friendly and fast. We got our starter salads within a few minutes of ordering and our mains when I was only half done my salad.
I ordered a steak with mushrooms – I know, I should know better than to get a steak at a fish/seafood place! Good size, a little under cooked for medium rare, a bit underwhelming.
We also got the perch dinner which I have to say was quite good! That’s what I would recommend getting!
I won’t be back in this area so doubt I’d dine again but if you go, get the perch!

Went out the other evening with friends, I tried the Tony Soprano Special. OMG, It was the Best meal I ever had at any restaurant!
Being Italian I don’t usually order Pasta meals out, never like our homemade, but this was excellent, Pasta with vodka sauce, packed full of chunks of Italian Sausage & Meatball. DELICIOUS!! And a very big helping, also side salad was very good. Ranch dressing was excellent.
I sure hope they put this dish on the regular menu or at least run this special often. I will definitely go back.

Went to lunch with my hubby, we were very excited to try this restaurant as we had heard good things about it. Unfortunately we were not as pleased and are no longer enthusiastic about it after we received our food.
To start the service was decent nice enough young lady, she was not very energetic or efficient and no real personality to speak of. But she did what she had to and I guess that’s good enough.
But the main issue was the food. No Flavor to anything we ate. I ordered the Nashville hot fish sandwich and was gravely disappointed. The walleye was very fishy, usually love walleye, Nashville hot was not even remotely hot, it was missing the cheese and there may have been a tablespoon of slaw on it at best, even the hot slaw was not hot? I got a side of chips saturated with grease and zero salt (flavorless).
My husband’s burger sliders were way overdone and the fries had a rubbery texture ( his words). Even the pickle puppy appetizer was mediocre at best, not at all what we expected only a mild flavor of pickle and they may have looked like a hush puppy but it was missing that onion and sweet corneal flavor.
