Omg!!! A must visit. The food 1000/10, drinks 1000/10. Such a chill vibe. Liz was my bartender and server. I must say, the Expresso Martini was the BEST I’VE EVER TASTED!!! Liz is one of the best servers/bartender in Nashville. It wasn’t super crowded for a Saturday night. I will be back when visit Nashville again.

The sign says seat yourself and it is counter service. People were nice.
They were out of ham for eggs Benedict.
American breakfast….. bacon good, potatoes hockey pucks, eggs fine, toast semi burnt whatever.
Biscuits and gravy, yuck.
I’m sorry to leave a terrible review, but b e warned the 4.7 review for the food…. it should be good all day.

Medium sized bar/restaurant on the main level of the hotel. Good amount of seating, kind of loud but it was dinner time! Decent service but our waiter was handling tables and working behind the bar so they slowed him down a little. Food was very good!

Came by for an afternoon drink. Stayed for dessert which was the cast iron cookie. JD the bartender was super friendly and helpful. Convinced me to come by later in the evening for another drink. I enjoyed my time here. Super chill environment and welcoming and accomodating staff.

Great spot inside hotel! Allie served us and is AMAZING!! We’re stuck here bc of an ice storm and Allie was there super early for breakfast and we came back for a late dinner and she was still there – but SO happy and attentive even 16 hours later! Incredible hospitality for a hotel restaurant/ bar!!! 5 stars for Allie!

They were quite busy when we arrived, and our waitress had her hands full, but another server stepped in to help. While it took over 30 minutes for our food to arrive, we understood given the crowd. When the food did come out, it was definitely worth the wait—everything was freshly prepared. The salmon benedict was spot on, and the fried potatoes were absolutely amazing!

[July 2025] The Library Restaurant & Lounge is located within the Sheraton Grand Nashville Downtown. I wanted to have breakfast before starting my day. I was there early so it wasn’t packed. I started off with an iced latte and then ordered the American Breakfast for my meal. The bacon was perfectly smoked and crispy but bendy. The breakfast potatoes were kind of plain, so the ketchup helped.

Loved their Hot Drinks Menu during holiday season, after a walk in downtown on a cold windy day, freezing our butts off, this was appreciated so much. They also know how to make them well. The overstory was good too.
Their espresso drinks use 8th & Roast coffee and they also serve 8th & Roast coffee throughout the day. Valet available. We just took an Uber there.
