Always get a smile here, and my blizzard (usually Royal Cheesecake Blizzard) is always done just how I like it. Whether through the drive-through or when I walk in, they are always friendly and quick with my order. From what I’ve seen, the restaurant has always been very clean, neat as a pin, and the tables are customer-ready. I enjoy going to the Wellston DQ!

The ice cream was melted as soon as I got it but that is do-able. The cheeseburger was completely covered in ketchup but worst of all was the pretzel sticks. I don’t know what happened but they were swimming in grease or something to the point the bag was wet with it and I didn’t get the cheese.

Best fast food in Wellston.
DQ grill and Chill is a step up above your typical fast food chains. You know the ones.
A1 burger was surprisingly good. Fries and tenders are just average but dipping everything in their home
style gravy just elevates it all.
They did forget to give us lettuce and tomato on the burger and while the staff wasn’t “rude” they were more focused on their own side conversations over assisting customers, especially the manager.
Blizzards are good as always.
If you’re passing through Wellston after hiking, catching a rally race, or just needing a bite, The DQ is your best option for fast food.

Ordered $7.00 3 piece chicken basket. They were out of gravy at 4:00 pm on Sunday afternoon. The fries were soggy and the coke tasted like it had alka-seltzer in it. Traded the coke for sweet tea. The tea was much better. Service was good. Many, many flies in the restaurant and restroom. Very good sundae. My personal overall opinion of the experience was poor at best.

The only good thing about our experience tonight was we got our food rather quickly but I think I know why, it wasn’t even hot. Our toast was soggy and fries weren’t even cooked. I was afraid to even eat the chicken to be honest. $25 for uncooked food I would have rather not ate at all. Just gross, do better!!!

Sat in line for 15 minutes from the time we ordered until we made it to the window to get out ice cream cones. I don’t understand if there is a car waiting on food. Why don’t you have them pull forward.
Also, if you didn’t have 3 female employees outside getting vapes from a female in a white car, the line might have moved a little faster if they were inside doing their job that they are getting paid to do! (6/7/25 @ 8:20pm)

It’s always a nice place to get a cold treat or a hot dinner but service is always so slow and the ice cream is a mess and usually melted before pulling away. I still go and always will 🙂 just think the crew needs a little teamwork

For it not being busy, it was some of the slowest service I’ve received. Food order wasn’t correct and ended up forgoing a blizzard because it wasn’t worth the repeated follow up. One worker stormed off after he had held a blizzard upside and flung some ice cream on the counter (minimal) and didn’t come back. There aren’t a lot of options in the area
