I have been eyeballing this place for a long long time. Today we decided to pull the trigger. Very reasonably priced for all this food. Jerk chicken. Corn bread. Mac n cheese. Rice. And plantains. GO GET AT THEM it may not look like much on the outside but hollllllly crap this is some amazing food!!!!!

Luckily my Uber driver suggested this place and the food was exceptional. The beef stew was tender and delicious and the portions were all very generous. If I lived in Daytona I would be here all the time. Definitely worth checking out!

I enjoyed the oxtail with rice green bananas and plantains. Modestly priced. The oxtail portions were big, tender and juicy. The gravy had a good flavor and complimented the rice perfectly. The servers were helpful and accommodating. Real Jamaican food! Stop by, you won’t regret it!

Overall, it was a good experience, I came here about 4 years ago, and it has been consistently fresh and delicious just as I remembered it.

Good portion sizes
Cons: They don’t give plantain with every meal.
Some staff not patient with older customers.
They have chunk, which is a vegetarian protein source. I am so happy they have this. Not a lot of Jamaican restaurants still make chunk. I had their curry chunk spicy and it was good. Flavors, textures, portion sizes on point!

We stopped by for lunch and the food was delicious specifically for someone who is trying Jamaican food for 1st time. We ordered lunch which comes with rice and one side. Jerk Pork, Chicken Curry and 5 pieces fries chicken which came with fries and 2 soda cans. The place clean and toilets were clean as well. Overall enjoyed our food.

My husband and I love this restaurant! We always get the stew beef with yellow rice dinner or lunch. The difference is the sides you get. The food is always plenty and the price is great. The taste is so delicious that we sometimes crave this once a week. Thank you guys for the delicious food.

The food was delicious. However the service was slow as a sloth. The lady took forever to fix our food. She was all over the place doing things all while still trying to serve our food and didn’t wash her hands once.
And then I was charged 73.10 for 1 fried chicken lunch plate, 1 curry chicken lunch plate, 1 curry chicken dinner plate and 1 fried chicken dinner plate even if each plate was $15 dollars that’s still $60 plus tax. This place will over charge you please make sure you check your receipt.

I went not know what to expect. I chose Jerk Chicken, Rice & Peas, Veggie, Mazc & Cheese with Cream and Pineapple Sodas. Everything was great!!! I have no complaints. I wanted to stay longer and eat because the place was low key and quiet at the moment but i had to leave to make a pick up. I will be coming back! Hopefully i get to sit and eat longer to enjoy the whole environment!!!
