Its a Baltimore staple. CHOPPED FISH SUB WITH MIKE SAUCE and MIKE CHOPPED SALAD. Drove 30 min from home to get my West Baldamore (insiders know) fav. It still tastes great. Next time Im eating it in the car so my bread wont get soggy by time I get home.

Your basic neighborhood sub and sandwhich shop, fairly priced and cooked to order. Got a steak sub and some side wings my first time here, not a fan of the steak sub but it was heavy.
Liked the chicken wings, nothing fancy but meaty and not “off cut” low grade wings. Did not like the fries, kinda soggy maybe from being in a carryout box.
If I’m working in the area I’ll definitely be back.

I had heard great things about the fish sub, but when I tried it the fish didn’t seem very fresh and tasted like it had been sitting for a while. I was a little disappointed since I was looking forward to it.

The site says it closes at 7pm on Saturdays. I came at 6:15pm and I also called many times but not one answered the phone. When I arrived they had the door locked and were just standing around. I don’t recommend this place at all. Why have a phone if you’re not going to answer? Why put business hours if you’re not going to abide by them?

I grew up addicted to the fish special! As a kid, my family would travel from NC to MD for church services held at 3100 North Ave. Well, Mike’s was right there and the aroma of the food would always draw us over there to place an order. I haven’t been to Baltimore since 2018 and haven’t been to Mike’s in almost 23 years but for the past few months I’ve been craving that oh-so-good Mike’s fish sub! That’s how perfect it is – that after all these years, my taste buds still crave it! I definitely recommend this place based on the memory alone!
