The menu seemed creative with lots of great options. The breaded oysters were out of this world, I could have had several portions as my main.
I went for the monkfish as a main, which was extremely well cooked. My partner went for the seaweed breaded fish and chips, which was very good.
We found out that most of the vegetables are actually grown on top of the restaurant. That made sense as everything tasted so fresh.
The service was exceptional and we couldn’t recommend it enough. We will be back!
won’t regret it.
The restaurant’s interior was tastefully decorated with local and talented artists. Soft lighting, comfortable seating, and soothing background music set the stage for a delightful dining experience.
The knowledgeable and friendly staff were more than happy to offer recommendations and provide insights into the preparation of each dish on the menu.
Aside from the outstanding food, the service was impeccable. The waitstaff was attentive, knowledgeable, and passionate about providing an exceptional dining experience.
Overall, The Dory offers a delightful culinary journey . The charming ambiance, delectable dishes, and attentive service make it an ideal choice for any occasion.
I hope to be back again soon.
One of my sons has food allergies and the chef took the time to provide a menu which clearly identified dishes he could eat and those to avoid. My other son is autistic and struggles with “fancy food”, and gets stressed trying to pick a dish. The bistro made clear they were happy to adapt dishes including from the children’s menu, which made him feel at ease. This was superb customer care, and was backed up by a friendly front of house team.
I would highly recommend the Dory.
