This is actually now My Town’s Cafe. New owners took over it in October. We actually met the owners this morning. They’re a husband & wife duo. The place is so cute and inviting. The owners were very kind and welcoming. They asked us if it was our first time visiting, and we said it was. They told us about their specials, and summer smoothies that were available. They were happy to answer any questions that we have and were happy to help. The wife took our order while the husband made our drinks. It’s rare to see the owners actually running their shop! It looks like such a nice place to study or hang out. My favorite part was seeing the strong connection they had with the community. The designs in their paper sleeves were designed by local middle school and high school students of East Islip! And they have many community events. There’s a printer the public can use, local artwork for sale, and a nice sitting area to hang out, and desks to eat or work on. I got the strawberry/raspberry matcha with oat milk which was listed as one of the barista’s favorite’s and my friend got an iced latte with the baklava cheesecake. All the drinks and desserts were so good. I also saw they had a vegan spinach pie and a huge turkey and cheese stuffed croissant that I wanted to try for next time. They also have board games available Tobolay with as well!

First time coming to the spot, Tiger, the owner was sat outside with his son just relaxing. My friend and I were admiring the outside when we struck up conversation. He was super inviting and personally walked us into the shop while asking about our tastes in coffee. He ended up making something personalized for me and I got the everything croissant with goat cheese and feta. Super delicious and perfect amount of savory. Balanced well with the sweet coffee. Decor and atmosphere was top notch and is without a doubt the best coffee shop i’ve been to.

So glad I discovered this adorable spot! Great selection of pastries & coffees. I’m a big coffee drinker and this was so delicious and smooth!! I tried the everything bagel croissant and the pistachio cake, and both were great.

Milano Bean Cafe in East Islip is amazing! I love sitting there with my Cappucino and doing some work there. It is very comfortable here and the owners and workers are always so nice! The baked goods are so amazing! The owners get most of there baked goods from there bakery in the City. This family owned business is Amazing! I am super excited that Milano Bean will be opening another location in Bay Shore, which I am hearing will be about four times the size of Milano Bean in East Islip.

They always make all their customers feel very welcome and are not in any competition with any other local Coffee Shops. A local coffee shop is trying to give Milano Bean a hard time telling vendors to cancel Milano Beans accounts. It is important in our community to support each others businesses instead of breaking each other down. It is so wonderful to have multiple coffee shops in Town and is great for our community, to have different options with coffee shops, just like everyone has different options for food or bars in our towns. They are good people and give much appreciation to every customer. They enjoy getting to know the community and giving the community some place to go to enjoy themselves with friends or family. The setting at Milano Bean is very soothing with a variety of different seating. I choose the one seat couch with a little round table for my computer so I can do some work and enjoy the atmosphere!
Milano Bean also does different events through out the year to give back to the community! Milano Bean owners are a great asset to East Islip and I know they will also be a great asset to the Bay Shore community as well! Please show your support to them and go and enjoy a great cup of coffee in East Islip and also once the Bay Shore location is open! The Bay Shore location will be open soon! this place was really nice! it had a cute look to it! I came here after a small group meeting of about 7 people. The employee working this store was very welcomong and introduced a new drink to me that he made for the store! He said it was called the Easter Drink! It was very sweet but nice! =) Next time I’m.in the area, I’ll definitely come here again!

I’ve been wanting a local cafe like this for a long time! We all got coffees (regular and a flat white) and some pastries including an apple turnover, apple galette, and an almond croissant, all of which were excellent, super fresh and buttery.

We’ve been to the Milano Bean Cafe a few times to grab a couple of lattes. We love the decor of the place, multiple comfy couches to lounge on. Or you can sit and sip your coffee outside on the little tables on a nice day. The service is always quick and great. We met the owners last time we were there, and they were super sweet and humble.
