Great Place Had a great experience with Dennis talking about the establishment of now serving the community for 19 years going on 20.

Today I had the lunch special Broccoli with gravy spicy. Man the flavor blew me away this second time. Keeps getting better and better with age like some fine wine. Price was great good portion and under $20.00 is nice now days. Place is clean well kept and working AC. Will be back again next time I’m in town. Second time eating here.

I definitely enjoyed this place. Having ordered a shrimp fried rice with mild spice, I savored the food immensely. The serving fed me twice with a bit still left over. I later returned to try their eggrolls and pot stickers. The prices are decent for the amount of food. However as a sole diner I would’ve preferred smaller portions so I could mix and match they’re freshly prepared meals.

Really cool place, nice people. The building and atmosphere is very unique. I ordered the Rad Na. The portion was very small for a 18$ dish. It was mostly gravy on a plate. The flavor just wasn’t there either. It was the first time I had to add salt to Thai food. It was so little food I had to eat again when I got home. There were a lot of locals and regulars there, and I saw other plates going to other tables that looked good, but I left with that sinking feeling you get after spending too much money on a poor meal.

Guy Fieri was right on the money with this one!

Everything at this place was simply amazing. Ordered a lunch special and it came with a soup and roll. Main course was pad thai with my choice of protein (beef). When asked if I wanted the mild or spicy option, I just had to go spicy. The texture and taste of it was wonderful.

I’ll definitely ask to work in the area again, just to have the opportunity to eat here again.

Do pay attention to their hours tho, they open from 11-2pm and reopen at 4pm.

Stopped by on our way to Pismo Beach. Love visiting DDD spots and this one did not disappoint. Very flavorful food with great cuts of meat.

Don’t let the outside fool you. Good atmosphere, smells good (like good food), it’s clean and attentive staff. Gets busy on Sat evening. Food was delicious. I ordered stir fried veggies and tofu. Great flavor! They do not use fish/oyster sauce in their dishes. Generous portions. Would most definitely come again.

Full disclosure: I haven’t had anything but the Pad Thai. I’ve been numerous times, but I can’t stop ordering it because it’s so good and delicious. I want to try some of the other options, but every time I go in, I start to crave the blend of flavors they create with their Pad Thai. Nice atmosphere, great service. Based on the food, it’s 5 stars. But I just wish it was a bit less expensive.

My soup tasted like wet dog that’s was about to rot. Prices were premium prices but served as if they are struggling to stay in business. They were busy and I still kind of ate the protein that tasted like refrigerator.

Wow… a Thai restaurant that was out of curry! So we substituted cashew chicken and the chicken was incredibly dry and nearly inedible. And the pad Thai was one of the worst I’ve ever eaten. Then to top it of, the owner was sitting at the bar listening to political podcasts load enough for the whole restaurant to hear.

On a more positive note, our waitress was very attentive and friendly. And the shrimp appetizer was very good.

Guy Fieri’s Diner’s, Drive in’s, & Dives TV Show is the draw the owners are hoping for at this Asian restaurant in Taft, Ca. Im at a loss as to why he “Ate Here” or even put his name and image of himself on the wall inside reception area. 1st.off, there are no Asians cooking the food. No Asian staff. No Asian owners. Its one of those eateries that fake it. None Asians offering up so called Asian cuisine only to fall deeply short of prison mystery food. If this is acceptable to the owners and locals are buying it then im opening a real estate office there offering ocean front property with free “Sort of” Asian Dinners free to all comers with purchase of course. The food is really that bad. I ordered Fried Rice w/ chicken and a side order of Pot Stickers. The Pot Stickers were fried to a crisp with NO Chili Oil in the house….Unheard of in Asian Cuisine. The only reason i ate them was because i was hungry. The fried rice was mush, the chicken was hard as leather, again …unedible. $29.00.
Guy Fieri must have been paid big time to anounce this “Dive” as a “Fine Dining Experience”. Never Again and dont you either.
