We had a wonderful experience at Mesero, made even better by our server Lauren — she was bubbly, delightful, and genuinely a joy to have taking care of us ✨. Her energy and attentiveness really elevated the entire evening.
For my meal, I ordered El “Miguelito”, which was flavorful and perfectly prepared . We started with the Loaded Jalapeños, and wow — bacon-wrapped jalapeños stuffed with chipotle chicken, queso Chihuahua, and crema mexicana… absolutely outstanding .
My wife wasn’t very hungry, so she made a meal out of the Crispy Mini Tacos (ground beef and shredded chicken combo), drizzled with habanero ranch and cilantro, with queso on the side. They were crispy, well-seasoned, and more than satisfying .
The restaurant itself is beautiful and elegant, located in a very high-end area filled with shops and restaurants. There’s even an ice rink directly across from the restaurant, which adds to the overall atmosphere and charm ❄️⛸️.
Mesero delivers on food, service, and ambiance. This is the kind of place you go when you want a polished experience without it feeling stuffy. We’ll absolutely be back.

If tacos had a fan club, this place would be the president. The tacos are so good they make you question every taco you’ve ever eaten before. The chips and salsa? Let’s just say they mysteriously kept emptying… mostly because of me. The fajitas arrived sizzling like they had something important to say, and they did not disappoint. The salsa that came with the fajitas was outstanding. And the Tres Leches? Honestly, it should come with a warning label — dangerously delicious and worth every bite.
Highly recommend if you enjoy great food, happy taste buds, and leaving the table wondering if you should order “just one more taco.”

We dined at Mesero to celebrate my daughter’s PhD license passing, and the experience overall was excellent. The atmosphere is upscale and inviting, and every single dish was phenomenal—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The food truly exceeded our expectations and made for a memorable evening.
However, I was quite disappointed that the restaurant couldn’t do anything special for her occasion. When we asked if they could acknowledge her achievement at the table, we were told they only sing for birthdays. For such a high-class restaurant, I expected a little more thoughtfulness and flexibility for special celebrations beyond birthdays.
That being said, the service was good, the food was outstanding, and I would still recommend Mesero for its quality and ambiance. Just keep in mind, it may not be the best spot for celebrating milestones other than birthdays.

Absolutely delicious! I was so pleasantly surprised by how flavorful the food was. The mesero queso was great, as was the guacamole. The star for me was the Pollo La Brasa. YUM. Ordered a mocktail and that was delicious too and not too sweet. Will be back!

The chips were really stale tasting and disappointing, the queso that came with the salsa was served cold, the guacamole and salsa was not good. However, the enchiladas were delicious and fresh the best I’ve ever had in Oklahoma very flavorable. The service was A+. Everyone was happy and delighted with there food. I do whish the food was hotter when it came out. FYI if your celebrating and you make reservations and you have people with Physical disabilities that can’t climb stairs make sure you let them know that because people had to leave because they couldn’t climb 2 flights of stairs. They said they couldn’t accommodate us to be seated on the 1st level. However, I really enjoyed most of the food and will likely come back and I do recommend.

We had an amazing experience at Mesero’s. Our waiter was such a pleasure. I was eating the serrano pepper off of the guacamole and he gave us the spicy salsa to try. I had the El “Miguelito” so I could try a little bit of everything. While the rice was average the enchiladas and tacos were good. Usually chicken enchiladas are dry but these were so good and not dry at all. I took the cinco leches cake home and super excited to try it.

We tried Mesero OKC for date night after previously visiting their Fort Worth location, and it did not disappoint. I had the Chile Relleno, and my friend ordered the brisket tacos. We also shared the queso and guacamole—everything was exceptionally good.
The restaurant has a nice, upscale atmosphere without costing an arm and a leg. We would definitely recommend this place.

Ratings for this place are a little low, but we had a wonderful experience. Cozy booth for our large party, right next to the kitchen. Portions were on the slightly smaller side, but food had good flavor. Server was extremely attentive all night.

Portion size is less for the price. Quality is not good. Taste is dry. It’s definitely not Mexican taste we are used to. We went during thanksgiving and there is an hour waiting time. Service was not good with less staff and long wait times to get drinks or food but our waiter did great job. We can see him struggling. Don’t go for good there are far better places if you are craving for Mexican.
