It all started when Rich’s day job had him traveling to places like Manhattan, New Jersey and Boston where he was able to experience amazing fresh bagels every day. When he would come home to Georgia there were no good bagels to be found! One day in June of 2019, he was sitting with his wife Kelly and said “I wonder if I could make a good bagel?”

-Update: I came back in today to give this place another try after my previous experience i’m happy to say it was much better. The owner came up to me and gave me a personal apology for my previous experience and my food and service was much better this time! I’m editing this review and leaving the original and the photos attached for full transparency.
-I came in Friday January 9th around 1:30 not only did it feel like the staff didn’t want me there i get my bagel to go and i get home to find it’s got a plastic wrapper on half of the egg. This is completely unacceptable from a place ment to serve food!!

Braden is fantastic. I’m writing this review because of his incredible service! Everytime I come in to Nagels Bagels, he serves us with a smile and is excited to serve us. He goes the extra mile to really care about his customers and that means more to me than the food itself (although the Bacon, egg and cheese on an everything bagel is delicious!) Nagels bagels is lucky to have such a great employee. Will definitely keep coming back.

We have had Nagel’s Bagels at our local coffee shop and wanted to try out the actual restaurant. We were not disappointed. I had their bagel breakfast plate. It had your choice of bagel, 3 in-house made cream cheeses, meats, cheeses, chocolate chips, egg, and some kind of candied fruit. I chose the Cheddar Jalapeño bagel. Typically it comes with a hard boiled egg but they were out so I had a fried egg with mine. The regular cream cheese and the sweet one were my favorite of the 3. The horseradish jalapeño cream cheese had a kick and was good but I think that combo with the bagel I chose was a little too much. My husband had their Cuban bagel and he said it was really good. Daughter had a fruit cup and chips. Everything was delicious and we can’t wait to come back and try something else!

Nagels Bagles is freaking awesome!!! Never has a bagel tasted so good. The employees are a delightful and so kind. Easy in Easy out.

The atmosphere is fantastic. Love being in downtown Cartersville. It’s a must-stop when you’re downtown.

I have also catered for Meetings @ the college, and attendees are shocked by how good the food tastes. Never leftovers!

Literally the best Bagels I’ve ever had but more importantly, ingredients I know that I can trust. Real food, no preservatives. The couches and little toddler toys really does create an environment where I feel comfortable letting my child play. Always friendly staff and tbh I love they sell their day old Bagels. If any of my contacts read this- if I buy you 6-12 Bagels, just know they were the day old ones and you should definitely go get a fresh one

Nagel’s Bagels is a true local treasure, blending delicious, fresh bagels with a warm, welcoming atmosphere that invites the community to have fun and connect. Their bagels are simply unbeatable—crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and packed with flavor in every bite. But what really sets Nagel’s apart is their dedication to fostering a sense of community. Whether you’re enjoying a bagel with friends, attending one of their fun local events, or simply chatting with the friendly staff, there’s always a sense of joy and camaraderie. It’s more than just a place to grab a bite; it’s a spot where memories are made and the community comes together. Highly recommend for anyone looking for great food and a great time!

The Martin’s are big fans of Nagel’s Bagels. I’ve had them at Good Stuff Coffeehouse plenty of times and they are always so good! We had some time to swing by and get one at Nagel’s and it was a great experience. As always, super nice staff, very very good bagels, and we can’t help but to like how the shop is setup. This is such a great place to get a quick bite or to stay and hang a while.

P.s. we love the rotating seasonal items!

The service was about average. The food was rather disappointing. For the price I was expecting real sausage but was let down when I took a bite and tasted about the same as McDonald’s uses. Pressed precooked sausage patty. Plus the butter toasted blueberry and cinnamon raisin bagels were very soggy. Tasted more like margarine and microwaved instead of butter and toasted.
