The owners were on premise. Amy was delightful in her conversation and manner. The food was delicious. Champaign margaritas were tasty and generous. Saturday all day happy hour at $5 per small plate and $5 per happy hour specials was terrific. The portions are genorous and one small plate per person was enough for lunch.

Entrees between $25 and $45, run by a very nice family. Authentic French. We got the duck, and two different steak-frites meals. All delicious. Small beer selection, larger wine selection, owners have worked to keep menu authentic and well-sourced.

The staff were very accommodating and made sure that each person in our party had something delicious to eat. There are some options for gluten free but not many. No separate fryer for their fries.

I’ve eaten here twice now, and I can say, with confidence, that this tiny, boutique restaurant is head and shoulders above their competition.
This last visit fell, unintentionally, within their Happy Hour and what a stellar surprise! $5 apps (tapas) from smoked salmon to quiche to fantastic pomme frites. There were a number of drink specials too, but as a reformed bar fly, I stuck with soda water – Pellegrino? I think. On a final note, it should be noted that this IS the longest serving French restaurant in Naples and I do believe it’s the best. If I was forced to choose a single restaurant for the rest of my life, Bazenne would near the top for sure…

Salvatore the waiter, very friendly. Recommended the mussels in a white sauce that was very good. The duck was ok (I am not a duck expert). The pancetta sandwich came in a ciabatta like roll, it was good, but I expected a French baguette. 2 bottles water, duck , sandwich, and 2 appetizers was just short of $100 . You decide!!

Excellent food, but very poor service. We waited forever to order, to get our food and for the check. We waited so long that we estimated to bill and left cash then left after asking for our check 3 times.
