The best cube steak a gravy smothered perfectly with white rice, Mac and cheese absolutely delicious mouth watering perfect portion of cheese make it even better than average. This was my second time eating here. The food taste incredible. I had the hamburger steak. It was seasoned just right. Even the gravy was good. The only thing that I wished they had was sweet tea. I’m willing to let that slide for good tasting food.

Beef roast, mac and cheese, collard greens, plus a side of yams
The turkey necks and the mac and cheese stole the show—rich, seasoned perfectly, and cooked with the kind of care you can’t fake. Portions were generous enough to make you reconsider lunch the next day.
I also had the chance to meet the owner, Arjuna, who was incredibly pleasant and took the time to answer all my questions about the menu and offer recommendations. That personal touch really set the experience apart.
Even on a busy Sunday with limited staff, service moved quickly and everyone stayed friendly.
If you’re looking for true soul food with big flavor and even bigger portions, this spot delivers. 10/10.

I’ve been several times being this my last. Out of respect for this establishment being my friends I never wanted to leave a negative review of any sort, Being said there could be better service as the atmosphere isn’t welcoming via call or ordering online… The presentation could be better as many don’t like their food touching or with red peppers. The Mac and cheese gave not made the same day as so as the broccoli casserole. The roast was a big hunk of meat that wasn’t tender nor did the rice under have gravy…, The carrots were bland as well as the seasoning too much on the chicken wings. A meat and 2 for 37$ with no drink was not worth it… I insist he could use help to better assist his welcoming skill and put the love time & effort into his restaurant that brought him this far…. ! I won’t be returning no where I don’t feel appreciated in more the one aspect… #Customer1st

I went here yesterday on Sunday with my family. We got the fish that came with two large fillets. The cabbage was amazing 10/10 I really enjoyed the collard greens. My husband who is extremely picky had the Mac and cheese and yams, he really enjoyed them. The place was extremely clean which is important to me. We loved the soft gospel music in the background.

What I do have an issue with is the lack of professionalism from the owner He was making up policies strictly on how he was feeling. He has no signed posted to not bring any outside food or drinks in his establishment and refuses to serve me because I had.a smoothie Which is his choice however it was handled with totally disrespect with his comments about “ I’m the owner, and it should come through my mouth to your ears.” Totally out of line . A simple, respectful explanation would have gone a long way or put a signed up if you are not able to articulate your policy.

I purchased a pork chop plate with cabbage, candy yams and cornbread. The pork chop was fried in fish grease the cornbread didn’t even taste like cornbread when I got in the car I noticed something didn’t smell right when I got home. I opened the bag and all I can smell was fish so I opened up the plate and I smelled the pork chop and it smelled like fish. I tasted it and it tasted like fish. I then called back up there and told the guy that my pork chop tasted and smelled like it was fried in fish grease . He told me he was the owner and he cooked the pork chop and he did not cook it in fish grease but I swore him down that it did taste like fish and smelled like fish, but he just kept telling me no I didn’t cook it in fish grease The only reason why I went there to eat is because it was a good review on TikTok that was the first and the last time that I would go there and buy a pork chop meal for $16.95 beware.

So we are currently at A Touch Of Skillz on Pleasantburg for lunch…. I’ve already placed my first and LAST order waiting on it to be cooked. An elder walked in to order her food. (When I say elder I mean, 65 and up!) while waiting for her food she placed her phone on the charger in the sitting area . He stated “got dang you need to to charge your phone too” He told her to unplug her phone, unless she wanted to leave him a tip!!! The lady had no money for a tip, so she unplugged her phone. Now we already out here no lights no power. Dead phones, no service… to have that type of customer service is INSANE!!! And not only that the lady spent money with you and your business and could’ve went elsewhere! This was the saddest thing I’ve seen all day. Just wanted to share before you all send your grandma or loved one there. Don’t expect hospitality

Bologna sandwich had me full and wanting more at the same time. Man running the place knows how to make food and has great customer service. I’ll be seeing this place at least twice a month for the foreseeable future. Prices are awesome too.
