Best Mexican food around. Yes, you do turn i no what looks like a mobile home park. Yes, the restaurant is in the little blue building on the left. It may be small, but the welcoming smiles and AMAZING food are a hidden treasure in all of North Dakota. The birria was tender and flavorful. Each bite of the papusa was delicious. It is more of a “to go” place. It is easy to miss but you shouldn’t.

The food is super authentic. They cook everything to order so it’s super fresh. Took me awhile to find them and it’s definitely not a sit-down restaurant but that doesn’t matter much to me. Everyone is always extremely nice and cordial. I personally don’t mind the prices (when you consider the average price for food you pay in Watford) you are definitely getting your monies worth.Definitely a hidden gem!

I thought the menu was a little pricey but woah they give you a MASSIVE amount of meat. I ordered 1 plate to go, stuffed my face, my child stuffed their face, and we still had over half leftover for tomorrow. It was DELICIOUS! Been in Watford City almost 10 years now and can’t believe there’s a restaurant that actually gives you your moneys worth now. 10/10

I was super excited to find pupusas in Watford City, and all the great reviews are spot on! The woman who took and cooked my order was so warm and welcoming. She made me a delicious bean and cheese pupusa (comes with pork also, but I only wanted bean and cheese) served with a side of salsa and a baggie of amazing curtido!

These folks are great! The food is not typical for this area which makes it a treat. They are very helpful about answering questions. The selection of treats and dishes are quite nice. With my last order I learned the difference between a Mexican and an El Salvadorian quesadilla!
