Closed on Friday at 6:50, rude customer service. I only drove two hours. Not very many options for fast food in Maine. Sad to say Popeyes will never get my money again. I know that won’t hurt them but hopefully enough people feel the same way and make a difference.

They’re slow, they don’t take coupons, they’re surly, and they have the most outrageous sauce limits (like 2 for an entire family meal) that I have ever seen. Whoever owns this franchise should be dropped out of a plane without a parachute.

They really have to figure out their ordering setup. It makes no sense. They have one person taking the order BEFORE the register then they give you your food and you pay at the register. But they also have someone AT the register who does the “normal” order taking.
They are SO slow at taking orders. There are plenty of chicken sitting at the window. But they can’t take orders efficiently so you wait. Waited 30minutes! Crazy… for about 20 people line.

Meals don’t include drinks. Drinks are extra. “Meal” before the drink was $13. This highway robbery is getting worse every year. They also didn’t carry easily the most popular item Popeye’s has to offer. The chicken sandwich.
At least they were open at 5:30 pm.

Store hours are for 10am-7pm. We arrived at 624 and was greeted with a rude shout that their closed. Looking at the Google time it’s says they’re open but nope. They couldn’t care less about regular hours. Why are they even open they should be closed permanently or change owners

Overall atmosphere is what you’d expect
The fact that the “company” that owns this specific Popeyes doesn’t “affiliate” themselves with Popeyes so you’re unable to utilize the app in any way shape or form is gross to me. As a customer you are already being up charged based on the simple fact you’re at a service plaza. Popeyes themselves should not allow their franchisee’s to do this to their customers. It’s really despicable that customers are treated this way.

For a fast food chain, the quality remains consistent. I have been to locations throughout the country and have never been disappointed. Brick and mortar locations or limited locations inside a truck stop, there has never been any hesitation to enjoy some of the most flavorful food you can find. An underrated franchise in my opinion.

The chicken was really raw when I visited , and they had no spicy chicken which was annoying. The whole trip was disappointing, not to mention the male and female worker up front. Very disappointed in my trip to Popeyes

They say they are open at 11 am, but didn’t open until closer to 11:30 am. Very disappointing when there aren’t many other locations in Maine. Multiple families waiting in the area for them to open based on the misinformation. The staff is very rude with no sense of urgency as instead of opening they decided to randomly wander, take pictures, and touch the soda dispensers wasting soda. Claudette was extremely rude taking orders. The major issue was they didn’t have any gravy. How do you start the day off knowing you aren’t going to have any gravy for the day?! Ending up getting a sandwich which was disappointing really.
