We cannot say enough about how much we love Chefs. My family and I have been patrons of Chefs since the 90s and the food and family-feel is timeless. The food is consistently delicious and the prices are great (really the only place around that prices have remained reasonable). We love their grandma slice, veggie slice and sautéed broccoli. We love saying hello to Dan at the front counter and having Laura as our waitress. It’s the best pizza place around, hands down.

We thoroughly enjoyed our first time visit to Chefs of New York. We came for pizza and the Upside Down did not disappoint. Delicious! We were offered complimentary garlic knots. They were tasty but a bit raw. I’ve actually never have a semi raw garlic knot before. We also ordered the antipasto salad. It was quite generous in size but the house dressing was blah, not enough of seasoning. The restaurant itself is small but cute and very casual. The wait staff was friendly and efficient. We will definitely come back to try out some of their other specialties.

We ordered 3 chicken parm dishes and paid for extra sauce… Pasta was dry and had 0 flaver…. Disappointed!!! And charged us extra for Alla vodka sauce on the pasta when it’s always the same price on Uber eats. It’s a shame because we always stop here and it’s usually good, won’t be back for a while!!!

Didn’t want to have to write this but we ordered 3 pies for 10 people and all of them were overwhelmed with toppings. Pizza was all falling apart and was not please to eat.
Taste, it was more on the saltier side and quite greasy. (If this is your preference then you may like it.)
The dough was a good but other than that the pizza itself was overflowed with too much topping.
Hope this review helps better their pizza quality for deliveries.

I often get the veggie pizza and it’s the most delicious pizza ever. It is very consistent and I am always looking forward to it. It has broccoli, fresh garlic, cherry tomatoes, fried eggplant, and mozzarella cheese. The portion size is great, there is so much broccoli! The fresh garlic gives it so much flavor. (There is no red sauce on this pizza) This pizza is made fresh every single time and whoever is making it does a great job!!!

Ordered three pasta dishes for takeout. Nothing was particularly bad, but everything was bland and lacking any real flavor. Each dish had just a thin layer of sauce over the pasta. Overall, food was edible but not worth going back.

Never Order food from this place on a holiday. Ordered 2 pizzas, a pasta and a salad. Pasta and salad done on time but the pizza never came. Waited a total of 3 hours. Finally left and was given a hard time by the owner about a refund. Went across the street and got our food within 30mins.

I will not be going back. Owner is not customer friendly. Stay away.

This place is a local favorite. Haven’t been here in 10 years since I moved. Gigantic portions. Make sure you order accordingly and share. We always went for Caesar salad. The small is easily enough for three people. They used to have the best lobster bisque. Unfortunately, they were not serving soup during the summer.

Long Island Lou Tequila
The food has never been great there, and at times the service is very slow, but we have been going for the last year or so again, because the veal francaise was amazing, as well as the meatballs. That has now all changed. We were very disappointed when we went on August 14th. The veal was horrible and unedible, and it should not have been served to us, as you could just look at it and see that it was not good.

The waitress didn’t seem to give a damn. Also the meatballs had bone and fat in it for the first time. We only go for those two items and we won’t be doing that again. I inquired if they had a new cook or changed their meat contract and I was nastly told “no everyone else likes it”. She saw that I didn’t even eat it and the fat on the side of my dish, but just didn’t care.

I guess every now and then you get a bad piece of veal, but both things changed? Hard to believe, and regardless what they say, something obvious has changed. No more for us

I come here for the Vodkarita pizza because it’s the best thing I’ve ever had. My younger kids are picky and will only eat pepperoni pizza. I pick up my order, drive home (like 15 minutes)… tell everyone to come get pizza… the vodkarita pizza is amazing as always, but the other pizza was completely plain, just cheese, no pepperoni, and completely burned underneath. Money wasted, because my kids won’t eat that, (neither would I) and now they are SOL because I can’t get another pizza. Pretty disappointed because this is the second time this happened and I usually always recommend this place to everyone. There are like 5 pizza places in my own town, and I probably pass about 10 more on my way to pick this pizza up. Please double check your orders and if the pizza is burned on the bottom don’t just send it out. Obviously I’m not going to open the box at the counter upon picking up, take a slice flip it over… let’s be reasonable.
