Enjoyed a wonderful evening at Levee House Bistro last night for the first time since they reopened 5 years ago. Everything was excellent! Started off with the Cheesy Reuben Dip served with Pita Bread, followed by the Salmon Wellington served with Roasted Yukon Gold Potatoes and Grilled Asparagus. For dessert including selected the Maple Walnut Pie, which was absolutely delicious. They had a fish special of Grilled Red Drum served with Cheesy Grits and Succotash, which i sampled, and it was one of the best fish dishes I have ever tried. Highly recommended!

Great Food, Great Service, Great Atmosphere and just a short walk from the Lafayette Hotel! The waitress was informative and extremely friendly, the owner and chef also came out to speak to all the customers. Super nice!

Great lunch. 200 year old building with lovely views of the river or white linen inside seating. Had the lobster rolls and clam chowder. Both were excellent! We will be back for dinner sometime even though it’s 2 hours from our house.

We got sat at our table and we got our bread before our waters which was like 10 minutes after we got sat. The bread tasted like it came from a frozen bag. We ordered the artichoke dip which was ok, the soups were ok for what they were, but the entrees were not good. We got the shrimp and grits, along with the scallops and ravioli. The shrimp were not even blackened and there was probably like 4, the grits had mushroom which did not belong, red peppers which were still almost raw. The sauce was practically the same sauce as the other entree. The scallops were tiny for what we paid. The ravioli tasted like it came from the freezer section. Again, the sauce tasted like the shrimp and grits sauce. Overall, an ok experience.

We were in search of seafood and landed at the levee house. And boy are we glad we did! Scallops were amazing!! Our server. Randy, was spot on. The chef/owner came out to chat and his wife also stopped by our table. The river views are awesome, too.

Consistently the best restaurant in Marietta if not the MOV.
Always lovely setting (especially the porch looking out to the river) and service (everyone is great but Kelli C is THE best.)
Updated: Randy and Kacey are also THE best. I had a special of crispy red drum tonight that was among the best pieces of fish I’ve ever had.
Updated November 2025: still as great as ever.
I’ve never had a meal here that wasn’t great.

Idk what these bad reviews are about but I think you’re talking about the wrong restaurant. Food was incredibly good and the atmosphere was amazing. Service was also nice and the owner is lovely. I recommend the clams/mussels and the salmon. I don’t know what they do to it but the salmon is amazing. I think it’s the pistachio on top. Only thing i’ll critique is that it needs a little more of that cream sauce around the salmon.

This is an older restaurant but that is part of the charm. The menu is well thought out and the dishes were of excellent quality. Portion size was spot on as we left satisfied and not stuffed. We both had the cod special with its great lobster sauce. My only criticism is that the rolls while tasty were not of the same caliber as the rest of the meal. Fun place for a casual quality meal.

I ate at the Levee House Bistro with my aunt last night. She had the Scottish Salmon & I had the Horseradish-Encrusted Cod, which was flaky & fabulous. We started with the appetizer of fig bruschetta. Everything was just great. We had sauvignon blanc with the meal & it was a generous pour. The sides with the meal were house potatoes & zucchini, summer squash, carrots. I have not enjoyed a meal this much in a while. The waitstaff were friendly & knowledgeable. The food was out of this world for a very reasonable price. We’ll be back.

Amazing food! We had the strawberry spinach salad and I absolutely loved it. For appetizer we had scallops with a blueberry sauce. Some of the best scallops I’ve ever had, tender and delicious and the little bit of blueberry sauce with each bite was amazing. For dinner I had the crab cakes with mixed vegetables and yellow Yukon potatoes. Most restaurant’s side vegetables are just blah and lying there. These were some of the best stir-fried vegetables from a restaurant we have had. My crab cakes were moist on the inside not overcooked and came with a Chipotle sauce which really highlighted the crab cakes. My husband had an old favorite of the Levee House, the chicken and pea pasta. And it did not disappoint. We were hearing raving reviews from all the tables around us about their food. We highly recommend trying out the new Levee House bistro.
