If you’re looking for seriously good BBQ in Irvine, there’s a hidden gem sitting right on the corner of Irvine Blvd and Jamboree Rd. Every visit starts the same way, great service and an immediate warm welcome. The staff here consistently brings their A-game.
Their beer selection is impressive, especially their own lineup of Sauced brand brews, but they also offer plenty of other options if you like variety. Not in the mood for beer? No problem, there’s a full bar, and their whiskey flights are a nice change.
As for the food, it’s always on point. The half chicken and tri-tip are standouts, they’re never dry, always juicy, and packed with flavor. It’s the kind of BBQ that keeps you coming back and makes you wonder how this place isn’t always packed wall-to-wall.
They have a full wall of TVs above the bar as well as quite a bit scattered inside and outside the restaurant. Oh ya, they have an outdoor patio area with heaters and fans too. Perfect for any time of the year.
Overall, this spot is a must-try and truly feels like Irvine’s best-kept BBQ secret. Hidden gem status: confirmed.

What a fantastic find. Delicious BBQ and a huge surprise if you’re into bourbon. They have an excellent selection and do specials on Wednesdays on super premium bottles. You must check this place out.

This place can seat a lot of people. It is a dine and drink establishment. The staff is super friendly. The food is prepared with care and the flavor and the juicyness tell you that. I love the baked beans and the corn sokatash real flavorful. The pulled pork was juicy and so was the chicken. The brisket was a tad dry but still had that smoke ring and flavor. We each got the lunch 3 meat special with two side. Worth every penny. I recommend this establishment but please come see and experience it. Share your experience with all of us. Shout out to Mel, super beautiful person. To the cooks and prepare in the back, Thank you for your cooking skills.

Wanted to find a place the Irvine area that served bbq for my birthday. Never heard of this place before, but this is definitely the spot! The bbq was solid; pork belly burnt ends and ribs are a must. The outdoor patio ambiance was chill and perfect for a birthday gathering.
What we were most impressed with was the service. Our server was Max, and he was friendly, accommodating, and made us feel special and well attended to during the birthday. You can tell this guys loves his job and is passionate about providing excellent customer service. Would come back 100%.

First time:
Good BBQ, good service. The portions are generous.
The manager brought me more Texas toast because he thought the piece that came with my order wasn’t toasted enough. I didn’t ask, but I’m not complaining!
Second time:
Wow I’m no longer impressed. The chili mac is a joke; a bowl of chili with a tiny scoop of mac and cheese on top. Not the right ratio at all. The brisket in the chili was good, but the chili itself didn’t have good flavor. Mostly tomato sauce. The corn bread it comes with is mid.
My friend’s brisket was incredibly dry. Rendered fat.

Today, I had lunch at Sauced BBQ & Spirits in Irvine with my best friend, and it was our first time visiting. We had a wonderful experience, thanks especially to our server, Mel. Her cheerful personality and attentive service made our lunch even more enjoyable. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was vibrant and welcoming. We truly appreciated the great service and look forward to coming back again soon.

Food was a 3, everything else was a 5.
Man I really hate to give this review. It’s a cool place, and the wait staff is friendly, but the brisket and pork burnt ends were dry.
The sausage, beans, cornbread, and sweet potato tots were all good.
My wife and I shared a 3 meat combo. It’s not exactly a Texas BBQ joint, but close.
I’m not sure if we’re going back.

This was by far the worst BBQ I’ve ever had. From tiny portions to dry chewy ribs to the vinegar soaked pork… throw in some old cornbread with lack of luster greenbeans; it was disgusting. 60 bucks later… We couldn’t even eat it. The poor waitress was trying so hard to “sell it” as amazing and quick. This was our first and last experience here. We love trying new places and someone from work recommended. We will go to Lucille’s instead. You should too.

Came here to celebrate my birthday with my family. The host was very friendly and sat my table right away, even accommodated my mother who was handicapped to a better table. Then, Angel immediately greeted me in a very cheery manner and was very patient explaining the menu. I did not tell them it was my birthday, but my girlfriend had called in and told them. I never had a better time at the restaurant.
They brought out dessert for me with a lit candle and it was DELICIOUS. By far the best thing was the apple pie dessert, SO DAMN GOOD.
I always come here for the nashville hot chicken which I get medium spicy. The oil on that thing is amazing. You MUST get garlic mash as one of your sides. The bbq plate is so so good. Brisket is warm, juicy, and very well seasoned. The Kansas city bbq sauce is my favorite and the portions are HUMONGOUS. Very economical especially in Irvine. We got the Nachos that were tasty and humongous as well.
Angel and the manager Mike were the best part. I care the most about service and have never been disappointed the 5 times I have been here, this experience being the best for my birthday. Can’t wait to return again to my favorite restaurant.

My girlfriend and I ventured craving for barbecue and I’m still deciding if it’s a BBQ haven or just a haven’t-quite-nailed-it-yet spot. Don’t get me wrong, it’s better than Lucille’s down the street (sorry, Lucille!), but the flavor is still MIA. The beer and spirits selection? Top-notch! The service? A little sluggish, like a Sunday afternoon. Our waitress was okay, but the hostess up front? A bit of a, well, let’s just say she had a healthy dose of attitude. We waited 20 minutes for a table, and the place wasn’t even packed. Will we be back? Maybe, just for those BBQ ribs… but only if we get a hankerin’ for ’em. Overall, it’s an OK spot, but don’t expect to be blown away just yet.
