I am a truck driver from northern Ohio delivering a load of milk to Smith’s dairy so me an my wife wanted pizza so we called Gionino’s pizzeria a couple blocks away an ordered the large Mediterranean pie $23.95 an after we started unload we walked over and picked it up the guys working was very nice an helpful an the pie was amazing the flavors was off the chart can’t wait to try the Caprese pie next time…..

I would rank Orrvilles best pizza place through the years. Serving a family of seven we cut straight to the chase and get the party pizza that serves us and provides a few with leftovers in the morning. The sauce is perfectly balanced with seasoning and touch of sweetness. Their cheese is thick and perfectly balances with the hearty crust. When I’m feeling extra I splurge and get a box of jojos to share with the family. They are perfectly crispy and soft inside, one of the best around.

Ordered $120+ worth of pizza for Super Bowl Sunday. They delivered the wrong order! Instead of multiple pizzas they delivered chicken. So I called the store and they weren’t willing to remake our order because it was too close to closing. This after waiting almost 2 hours. Clearly the gave our order to someone else. Best they could do was give us a credit….. well we tried to claim that credit last week and were told we waited too long.
UPDATE: District/Regional manager reached out to be via telephone and apologized profusely. I also sent this feedback via their website, which I’m assuming prompted the call. Our credit has been restored. Adjusting review/rating appropriately.

Orrville Gionino’s The home of burnt Jojo’s and raw sandwiches Cheese not melted that we paid extra for. The sandwiches were barely heated if at all. Raw veggies on the sausage sandwich and cold meatballs on the other sandwich. Kids working there that don’t care what they send out and whoever is managing doesn’t care either. Do yourself a favor make your own pizzas or opt for sandwiches or wings from Jerry’s!!! Anyone that thinks this place has good food must never have had good chicken or pizza. The pizza at the gas station is better than the cold, burnt slop they have at this place. Kids that work there don’t gave a damn what they send out and management is no better.

Nothing like throwing a championship gathering & ordering pizza; then when delivered realizing you don’t have your chicken for 10 people nor your mojo fries! Called the location & was told figured that would happen- and nothing they can do because they are shutting down for the night! Put order took almost two hours! How about next time you make some calls at the very least and figure out how your driver couldn’t read the label and where he may have left our food in error? How about you take action rather than saying not your problem

Every time we’ve called, the person answering the phone is so rude. You walk into this establishment and aren’t even greeted. The kids that work there have zero customer service skills. This evening was the final straw. We ordered a simple large pepperoni pizza with half mushrooms; told it would be 20-25 minutes. I arrive at 25 minutes and I’m told the pizza still has 5 more minutes, and that was fine. I sat down and waited 15 minutes (they had forgotten I was there). I stood up and was told it had 4 more minutes. I stood there and was then informed that they “lost the pizza”. And then miraculously found it and came to the counter to let me know that it was made incorrectly. So, in total we waited 25 minutes and then another 30 minutes in the store only to end up empty handed. I asked for a refund and was offered a free drink. I got my refund and will never, ever waste another minute on this establishment. What a mess.

Never again for me! I have had gionino’s pizza over lunch time at my work and the Napa filter sale and it was sooo good! but I have tried it twice in the evening…at Kidron and Orrville…and the pizza is overdone…almost burnt and the Jojos are the same…just a shell…no white left in the potato. If I am going to pay a premium price for pizza I expect good quality food. Just an observation…the there are only teens working the evenings…does the boss or the adults that are on top of their game work days and then they hire kids for the evenings?
