Only time we’ve eaten in Denver City. Nice clean place with friendly waitress. Food was good and plenty on our plates. Interesting that they call their red sauce gravy. We sometimes make ours with chili powder and flour which what I think there’s is, hence the gravy reference.

The restaurant overall is great. Staff is very friendly and attentive. Some of the food choices are a little bland in flavor while others get a little more love and attention. My favorite is the quesabirria. The price is right. The birria itself lacks flavor but the Consommé makes up for it so while paired together it becomes a great plate. Prices are never what it seems. You think you’re going to walk out of there paying $13 but instead you end up paying close to $20. I believe they are over charging somewhere; quite possibly the drink.

The menudo was very watered down and barely had meat. They used to be good years ago but it seems they couldn’t keep up with costs because they had to stretch it out with water. Very gross, do not buy the menudo.

This place was recommended by my sister-in-law who grew up there in Denver city she said it was the best Mexican food
So of course I had to try it and I will have to say it was some of the best Mexican food I’ve ever eaten is there hot sauce was perfect just hot enough to give you a little bit of heat but the heat did not linger just the flavor

We took a large group in for a breakfast meeting. The waitress was quick, friendly and efficient. The food came out fast and tasty. A couple undercooked eggs kept the review from being 5 stars but who hasn’t done that?! The salsa is really good! I took a to-go cup with me. And the best part was the bill was lower than I expected it to be. They are really affordable.
