Everything about this deli is wonderful. The food is delicious, cheaper than fast food and is pretty dang fast! I love the gigantic breakfast sammies for under $5. Can’t beat this anywhere!!

This was my first visit to this diner and I was impressed. There is a very helpful owner and staff. I had the pastrami sandwhich on rye and it was perfect. Prices were very reasonable and I liked the atmosphere. I wish I had tried this place sooner.

Great sandwiches!!! Love this place. I’m never disappointed! Update… my favorite sandwich is the Randolph. I have all my friends try it their first time. It never disappoints. There is a reason it’s first on the list. Today, I stopped for breakfast for the first time. It’s awesome! A hot bagel with egg, pastrami, and pepper jack for under $5!!
When you come here, ask for a punch card because after 7 it’s a few sandwich, but breakfast does not count towards it. Best restaurant in Mason City!!

Just tried the ham and cheddar on white with raspberry chipotle sauce. Interesting combo! The sweet and spicy sauce definitely gives a kick to a classic sandwich. Worth a try!

Terrible customer service. The staff were rude and unhelpful, giving me blank stares and speaking disrespectfully. Honestly, some of the worst service I’ve ever experienced – I was completely appalled by how I was treated. On top of that, my sandwich was overly salty and unappetizing. I will not be returning.

Soup floppy and squeezed out of a bag. Sandwich looks like I stopped at a gas station and bought the supplies to make it. Nothing bakery fresh. No meat cutting fresh. Not deli quality. Rude register old lady barking at us and cutting us off if we had a question. No customization. Could have made better food MYSELF by stopping for supplies at Hyvee. Desert tasted dry. MEDIOCRE across the board.

A really good deli in Mason City, IA! The sandwiches are great…the sides are not as good, but still good…and really small.
Today I tried the Cuban, which was good, but not an authentic Cuban like you would expect if you have eaten Cubans in Florida/Miami, etc. Still, a really good take on the sandwich and I would definitely order it again!

My employer often treats us to State street deli for lunch. Its always top tier quality! You’ll never find a sandwich better then the Michigan! My only complaint is they close at 3pm.
