We came here with three friends and had been here before. My wife had macadamia grouper and I had grilled blackened salmon. Both plates were pretty large. My salmon, which had to be a pound, was cooked just right and was delicious. It came with a salad , a huge portion of brown rice, and vegetables. Service was good even though it was a busy night. We will be back.

I had the pleasure of dining at Enigma Bistro tonight, and it was an absolute gem! They offer an incredible variety of fish plates. My personal favorite was the Mykonos Grouper, but we also tried the macadamia-crusted and pecan-crusted snapper and all were a perfect 10 out of 10! It’s been a long time since I’ve found a place that feels so homey, with flavors that hit pure perfection. It’s also family-friendly, super affordable, and has been around for 25 years. It’s owned by a lovely Cuban lady, and I can’t recommend it enough.

Very tasty generous portions. A great value. Cuban pork chops a real winner. Small space with a vibrant vibe. Efficient service only available when family run and everyone cares. Expect a busy, bustling atmosphere.

Wonderful dinner here last night. The food is delicious. The owner is very organized, friendly and makes sure you get seated promptly. It may be my favorite so far in Delray Besch! The only problem is deciding which entree to order from their extensive menu but you really can’t go wrong.

Definitely one of the best and most authentic meals in town. Skirt steak was insanely good, as was the sangria. They have many terrific selections on the menu. It’s small but lively and never loud. Definitely get the conch chowder, the best in the area. My only push back is the bread. Which wasn’t warm, and hard. Total gem.

Small family run cozy restaurant. Pleasant, rustic atmosphere with a varied, cuban influenced menu. Everything was delicious and great customer service. We suggest going mid-week as it gets crowded on weekends. Reservations suggested for peak hours or larger groups. We arrived at 5 pm mid-week: no wait.

Friends invited us to go here with them so we did.
Based on the appearance of the exterior alone we would have passed. The interior wasn’t much better. Upon entering the fishy smell hit you. The place was dark and dreary.
The fish we ordered to be well done was not.
We had to send them back.
The server/owner took them back to cook them more.
The quality of the food was not good. The tiny side salad that accompanied the meal was ice cold and clearly prepped in advance.
The pasta that accompanied my wife’s dish was inedible. The vegetables served with my fish was off tasting.

Excellent food and service! Maduros appetizer is amazing! We also got the Grouper Provencal, Snapper Havana, eggplant – and of course, some Sangria. Everything was delicious, generous servings, and service was friendly and attentive – never rushed. More of a local vibe than touristy. Small, cozy dining room plus outdoor seating. Can’t believe it wasn’t more crowded, this is a hidden gem.
