Honestly I recommend this restaurant from the bottom of my heart!
Thank you John for taking such a great care of us!!!
Give it a try and you won’t be disappointed!!!!
The service was outstanding! Every dish was explained in detail, the staff were incredibly attentive, and it honestly felt like the entire team was working together to make us feel welcomed and well taken care of.
We ate a lot but still saved room for dessert — and it was a true symphony of flavors.
We had a reservation for 23:15 and arrived on time. After we sat down someone came and told us we can’t order food because the restaurant is closed. We told him that we have a reservation and then he checked and allowed us to order something (in a rush).
The option he suggested is for them to choose us the best menu items. We were rushed to send the order to the kitchen quickly so we said yes and no additional questions were asked (like what kind of food we like / dislike etc).
Then they brought us mostly fish dishes (only one meat) that were very nice but caused some stomach pain for my partner (we told in advance we’re having a long flight the day after and wished the food to be the freshest selection – if Sushi wasn’t fresh enough we would have preferred to get more meat or cooked fish instead)
The service was far below my expectation. Towel that was dropped on the floor was lifted by the waiter without washing the hands, the plates were put on the table with the fingers touching the dishes. Its not something that bothered me too much, but for a restaurant at this price range – I would expect Michelin star level of service.
Overall – we enjoyed the atmosphere and the quality of the food, but expected much more.
All of the pictures I’ve attached are 410$ including tax and mandatory service fee of 18%, I think it should have been half.
We went on a Saturday night, about 30 minutes after it opened, and were surprised to find it completely empty. Even as the evening went on, it never really filled up, which was unexpected given the reputation of the restaurant. This was especially surprising because the food was actually pretty decent.
The menu offers a wide range of options at varying price points, so while it’s definitely on the expensive side, there are choices to suit different budgets. The sushi was absolutely delicious—fresh, well-prepared, and full of flavor. However, the fried rice turned out to be much spicier than expected, to the point that we couldn’t eat it, which was disappointing
Each course delivered something special. The grilled meats were beautifully charred with a rich depth of flavor, the dumplings were delicate yet packed with umami, and the sushi was elegantly prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The balance of textures and flavors in every dish showcased both innovation and respect for traditional Asian cuisine.
A special highlight was the dessert—a decadent yet refined treat that rounded off the meal perfectly. The birthday surprise was also a thoughtful touch, adding to the warm and hospitable service.
Overall, Lucky Cat exceeded my expectations. The combination of bold flavors, stunning presentation, and a vibrant atmosphere makes it a must-visit for anyone looking for a refined yet exciting dining experience. I will definitely be returning!
The menu offers all the Asian staples you’d expect, but with some fun, creative twists that make it stand out. Every dish we tried was absolutely delicious, beautifully presented, and perfectly timed. We chose one of the tasting menus, and we definitely made the right choice! The attention to detail was clear in both the food and the service.
Speaking of service, the wait staff was exceptional—attentive, kind, and knowledgeable, which made the whole experience even better.
Little Cat is a must-visit for anyone who appreciates incredible Asian cuisine in a chic setting. From start to finish, it was a flawless 10/10 experience. We can’t wait to come back!
We did the Journey experience, I was already full in the middle of it. Everything was really good! My favorites were toro tartare and miso salmon.
Also, don’t miss the drinks. We have two non-alcoholic- yuzu and with chia, and both were really good.
It’s the only Asian place in the US by Gordon, and it’s worth trying!
