Absolute hidden Gem! I’ve been craving authentic Mexican food ever since moving from the southwest. This place did not disappoint! The Charro beans were some of my absolute favorite I’ve ever had, and everything just reminded me of home. we ordered the Sampler Platter, Carnitas Plate, and Steak Burrito and loved every bite. man im full. This little strip-mall spot is truly a hidden gem. Though small and unassuming from the outside, the food was nothing short of extraordinary—authentic, flavorful, and far beyond our expectations. Every bite was a wonderful surprise, and it’s clear the heart and soul of the kitchen make this place unforgettable.

The owner, Carlos, is so iconic!! So kind, so welcoming, but still professional and provided such excellent service, you can tell he cares not only about his restaurant but about you as the customer!! Don’t even get me started on the amazing food, chips and salsa to start off were soooo good, that salsa was amazing we took some to go!! Birria and cheese tacos to die for and SO filling. I highly recommend the hibiscus drink, nachos, steak burrito, and green sauce that comes with the chips and salsa! Carlos is extremely passionate about his restaurant and food! This place is phenomenal. The owner is sooo nice. Walking in transported me back to Puerta Vallarta. It’ felt like a mom and pop restaurant in Mexico. I had the Shrimp Diablo- it was so flavorful the rice was so good! It came with beans but I requested just lettuce. Even their home made fresh fruit drinks were so good! I had the cucumber mint lemon. The chips and salsa 10/10 and the guacamole was so fresh and flavorful. Please support this business- you will not be disappointed. Best Mexican food I had in a longtime had a down by far.

Fantastic food and very friendly owner! We tried this as pickup/takeout for the first time. We had chicken tinga bowl (aka platter) and carnitas tacos and chicken enchiladas with green sauce. This green salsa they put on the side is everything, make sure you get that. Full of flavor. The carnitas tacos with green sauce were my favorite. Portion sizes are great and generous. Highly recommend trying this and supporting a local business!

This food is just plain amazing. I’ve been to Mexico twice ( not the resorts) and this is the same food you would get at a top restaurant in Mexico City or Oaxaca. The freshest ingredients, prepared expertly and with care. The mole sauce was incredible, the salsas were definitely homemade, and the bean dip divine.
Highly recommended as one of the best in Fairfield.

First time here I do not like to try stuff. I did not know what to order. The guy was very helpful told me what to try and omg it was delicious. First time here and I will be back again. I’m telling my friends and family about this little spot. Five stars definitely at least from me.
