I love this place. It’s converted gas station and the owner kept a lot of nostalgia.. there’s an outdoor eating area with a gas pumps that say full service. You’ll find a nonworking payphone inside. Check the coin return I found a dime.

The food is good.

The owner is a little rough around the edges. Just remember, this is a Chicago hot dog place. You won’t find a Sonoran hotdog. Don’t ask for One because he’ll remind you. The place is not Mexican, the food is from Chicago.

Overall, I’d highly recommend a visit .

Great place! The owner and his wife give great service! Very attentive and everything is fresh. I got a chili cheese dog. Poppy seed bun. All beef dog topped with homemade chili onions and cheese. The chili is delicious. Absolutely full of flavor. I would.prefer cheese sauce over shredded I think it would elevate the dog. 8.6/10. The Cuban was amazing. Pickles crispy and fresh. Delicious mustard woth whole grains in it. And the pork tenderloin is marinated sliced delicate and absolutely packed with flavor. The bread was hot and cheese melty. Rare for me to rank higher than 9 anywhere this sandwhich gets a 9.8/10. The fries are battered. They were good and crispy. A little salt.out of the fryer would go a long way for me. 6.8/10. All in all a delicious place. I will be back next time I come through. The ambiance is route 66 and old school hot dog stand feel. This is a must try. I cant wait to come back!

As someone who moved to Arizona from the Chicgo suburbs, it is so hard to find good Chicago food here. On a trip north I happed to come across this gem. First meal I had in a long time that truly felt like home! The Chicago dogs and Maxwell Street Polish were as authentic as it gets. Will definitely have to find more excuses to make it up this way!

Made a quick stop here as we pass on through. Not really parking for semi trucks, but you can park on the street and get food then go.
Service was amazing and up beat. The prickly pear lemonade is a must get. It is light and refreshing
We got the Chicago dog, the chili dog, polish sausage and the cubano. All of it was amazing and I would reorder everything again. The cheese curd is a good side to it all and get the fries I personally like them. So if you are passing through Holbrook,Az stop in and get some good fast food. Prices are a good deal as well

Fun, made-fresh, classic fast food. Nice selection considering it’s a small family owned business (Vienna hot dog, subs, Ruben, Cubano, gyro, falafel, etc.).

Old Richfield service station converted into a nice roadside restaurant. Food is fresh, prepared and wrapped well for dining here or to go. Delicious chili cheese hot dog, not spicy, so bring the heat if preferred. French fries were AMAZING and served hot!

Great stop traveling I-40! I have a soft spot for converted gas stations. Got the Cubano and the chili cheese fries. Chili was awesome, all meat and little sauce and seasoned well. Sports peppers were a nice touch. Cuban was great with enough meat and the right amount of spreads and cheese. Pickles were a little sweet for me, but that is a personal preference. Great job!

I am so glad we stopped. The restaurant is clean and features a large, neat outdoor eating area.
The staff was very kind and the service was efficient.
The highlight is the delicious food. We ordered a Cuban sandwich and a Reuben, along with one order of fries. Both sandwiches were huge! That did not stop us from eating all of it though, they were sooooo good. The marble rye on the Reuben was fresh. The Cuban was served on a French roll then pressed flat. Hot, melt deliciousness.
The French fries were hot and crispy.
This is a great place to stop on I 40.
